Lizabeth: IKR KSJAKDNWOSKS

~ Hayden / Wenz p.o.v ~

After a month, I've learned more about Lizabeth.

I suppose you could call us friends.

One thing I know about her is that she has a knack for hurting my feelings accidentally.

Like those people who misrepresent their phrases to the point that they sound insulting, yet you know they didn't mean any harm.

Yea, that.

But I'm used to it now that I don't see the point in complaining.

"But I really like your bowl-cut hairstyle!
It seems to be......nice on you?"

Did she just hesitated??? Nevermind! I regret my previous statement; she is definitely doing this on purpose.

I DID NOT CHOOSE THIS HAIRCUT, OK.

....

....

....

However, she consistently exceeds my expectations. I admire her for always keeping her word when she promised me anything.

....

....

....

....

" So, why are you in my room right now? Aren't you going to get beheaded for that?" I said, staring at a little girl in a maid costume who returned my stare with a dumb smile.

She puffed.
"I begged with my parents, and my parents begged with your parents to hire me as your maid!"

"But I already have a maid?" I'm confused.

"Ha! I managed to persuade them that a kid your age is better for you to socialize with other kids and create connections!" she laughed.

" I'm guessing it worked because you're here.... "

"This way, we won't have to go to that pink rose garden all the time! Because I'll always be with you! And don't worry, I'm a great maid!"

Wow... So confident.....

"All right, I'll change, where are my clothes?"

....

I'm walking down the corridor with Lizabeth to join my "family" for breakfast.

I can only hear our shoes clacking on the floor because the mansion is incredibly quiet.

Lizabeth made the decision to speak up.
" How's life with your family going?"

"Great, my "siblings" starting to fight with me is becoming less and less, I think they're tired now hehe," I say, turning to face her.

Lizabeth's smile faded into a slight frown before returning. "You haven't adjusted to your new parents yet?"

....

" Of course not; I can't help but feel strange about it; after all, I adore my former parents as much as they adore me; I'll never get used to it..."

" I'm the same way... but they're nice people, so I feel bad about not liking them back."

" It's difficult to have feelings for someone in......an otome."

....

....

....

Lizabeth came to a complete stop.
"Anyway, haven't we passed this stage? Let's look forward to our new lives! Last month, we did nothing but have a complete meltdown about our new lives!

So let us make the most of it! Let us spend a lot until we drop!"

" Hmmm, seems like you've raised a red flag."

We both laughed our discomfort away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" You'll be awakened next week."
"My father," he stated flatly.
I forgot about the magic in this world.
And there's the whole awakening thing.
"I'm sure you've heard it before, but not in full detail.....um.... honey, could you kindly explain him to me? I'm exhausted..." my "father" used puppy eyes, but it only worked for my "mother," not for me. I see an elderly man attempting to be cute through puppy eyes. ew.
" Of course, darling! That's where you gain your magical abilities and awesome skills! All you have to do is touch the orb, and the orb will tell you what your magic is! Now, isn't that exciting? Don't worry, all 7-10 year olds go through an awakening, so don't be afraid," my "mother" gently and lovingly explained.
" ok-
" I can't wait for the public to witness "his" magic."
Ezekiel (the oldest brother, in case you forgot who he is) interrupted.
Is that an insult? Also, for a 14-year-old, you're acting pretty childish.
"It's a private awakening, Ezekiel," said "father" in a harsh tone this time.
It's because no one will judge the Dominiques for having a weak son, I believe. After all, I'm not their biological child.
....
....
....
Breakfast is over, and I'm lying in my bedroom on my bed.
Lizabeth is standing right next to me, pouring me tea.
"Don't worry, Wednesday, maybe you'll get some op skills like those reincarnated mc!" she reassured me.
I gracefully took the tea she had poured for me. I've taken private manners classes and it's a real pain.
My strict teacher, on the other hand, has told me that I am the most elegant pupil he has ever taught.
Hehe, I'm pleased of myself for it.
Continuing
"Perhaps; I'll be overjoyed if I do."
I smile
