Chapter 5: Off

I wanted to act as naturally as possible.

That's what P'Nuchy always told me. "Off, you don't have to look cool all the time. You will have to let go and be vulnerable to act better."

I've seen Gun do this many times. He acts so naturally. No pretense. Pure emotions.
I want to do the same.

As I turned and sat in front of my partner, his face was so... Beautiful, yes. Vulnerable, yes. I also felt there was something else. Can't pin point.

My dialogs were simple. No monologues. Just a simple interaction.

"Are you scared of me?"
I got the scripted response - "No, I'm not scared. So, what are you going to do now?"
"I don't know. What should I do to you?"
"I don't know."

.
.
Well you know all that. But what you don't know is that I was thinking what would be coming next.

I had to kiss his ears!

Gun is ticklish everywhere. Maybe not on the lips. But everywhere else. Everytime I had to ensure if he was ready or not.
This time I couldn't verbally. So I just waited.

Gun slowly nodded indicating he was ready.

And I shuffled forward, closer to his face. As my lips touched his ears, he winced, feeling the tickle.

To calm him I kept my cheek on his cheek. His beating heart took some time to slow down. And then he relaxed.
