June 9th 1943
We're not hungry anymore but we're still thirsty and tired, we can't drink the ocean water because its to salty and there aren't any rivers to drink from. We sneak to Kaigungo.
We find bodies of dead soldiers who rotted away during the battle of Okinawa. We can't eat them. As we go further in we hear the creak of the doors as the slight breeze moves them.
We go through the door to the walk in fridge just to see frozen bodies of US soldiers and their blood frozen to their foreheads. At the back there were flasks full of water.
As we went further into the bunker we found room after room full of nothing. We turn a corner and I walk straight into a red door and hit my head. We struggle to open the door but slowly it scraped across the marble floor. Inside there's row after row of beds and in the middle of the room there's a table full of food from around the world. It smelt like heaven on earth.
