I turned on the radio
A big mistake oh no
The news!
I read the paper
A big mistake oh no
The pain!
I look around this world
And I see fear
Around, around, around me
Did you watch the news last night?
Oh, the pain, the fear, the news
Just can't be right
But it is!
The fear, the pain, the news, it's such a fright!
And what are we going to do about it?
Fight? I doubt it
I turned on the radio
A big mistake
Oh no, the news
I read the paper,
A big mistake
Oh no, the pain!
I look around this world
And I see fear
Around, around, around me
