Moonbyul POV
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ・ ───

I could feel the warmth of her breath in my neck, as I was leading her through the busy streets of Seoul.

"Take my hand Byul-yi, I wouldn't want to lose you right now." She told me, after which I immediately grabbed her hand. I'm glad that she wasn't looking at me, because I could feel my cheeks turning red.

It has always been incredibly busy during nighttime in Seoul; but today it was way more crowded than usually. It was like we were packed together as sardines.
I felt her pulling my hand.

"Byul, let's go get some Dakkochi first!" She suggested, while pointing at a street food stall.
We both were really hungry.
I was about to grab my wallet, willing to pay, when I suddenly realized that I wasn't wearing a bag - at all.

I forgot to bring my bag.
"Aishh.. my phone, my wallet and even my keys.. I think that I forgot them at home." I sighed. "I'm so dumb. I don't think that my landlord is still awake at this hour."

"Byul-yi... don't worry. You can stay over at mine, if you'd like. We'll call someone to fix your keys tomorrow!"

"Isn't your sister home?" I asked.

"No, she's staying over at her friends' house tonight. We'll be alone."

"Ah, alright. Thank you for letting me stay at yours."

"No problem. That's what friends are for, right?"

Friends. Yongsun was my dearest friend, even though I've always been wishing we could be more than that.
The day I confessed to her went terribly. She told me that she needed more space, but I am convinced that she only said that to avoid hurting my feelings.

"Yes. That's what friends are for." I said, while smiling at her.

The familiar atmosphere quickly dawned on me. I haven't visited Yongsun's apartment in a really long time; it hasn't changed one single bit. In the past, I came here almost everyday.

"I was looking for some food for us to eat, but I only have some ramen at this moment." She said, while walking out of the kitchen. "I really wasn't expecting you to come over today, so I didn't go to the grocery store. But of course, our Moon Byul-yi is so forgetful she left her keys at home..."

"I guess you've fallen for my charms." I jokingly replied, with the intention to cheer up the situation.

"Oh, please, shut up Byul-yi." She said while grinning. "Your greasy ways haven't changed at all. I'll go prepare the ramen."

I felt really astonished when I first read her message last night. We both hadn't talked in so long; I was convinced that Yongsun might've deleted my number already. I didn't expect that she wanted to meet up with me.

And there we were, eating instant ramen out of the plastic cups while sitting on the ground.
"I think this is way better than eating at some noisy restaurant." I chuckled.

"I agree." She was looking through the window.
"Summer nights are my favorite kind of nights."

"Nights with you are my favorite kind of nights." I quickly got flushed from my own greasy comment.
