Anemone: in case you were wondering what Clay and Peril were up to for the past few chapters, this is what happened.
*tape starts*
Peril: Clay, we need to talk.
Clay: okay?
Peril: what have you been doing for the past few chapters? You were going to get us some food, and then you disappear and don't come back! I was worried sick!
Clay: *mumbling* I was doing truth or dare with that mahogany guy.
Peril: THAT KID? I talked with him and he seems to be the most stuck up, self centered, narcissistic jerk I have ever seen!
Clay: he can't be that bad... what did he say that makes you think that?
Peril: he made a joke about how I should watch myself because of how hot I am!
Clay: he sure does like to joke, but I'm not sure how you took him to be a narcissistic jerk for that, for all I know, he was probably complimenting you!
Peril: wow. I never thought about that. You always make me see the good side to all things, even if they seem so bad to me! I love you, Clay! *kisses him on the cheek*
Clay: I love you too. *smiles*
