The party (Valentine's part 2)

Mahogany: hey Qibli!

Qibli: yeah?

Mahogany: I'm back!

Qibli: I kinda figured that.

Mahogany: right.

Qibli: so, should we get the party ready now?

Mahogany: yeah, probably.

Qibli: what is there to set up?

Mahogany: I dunno! You came up with the idea didn't you?

Qibli: oh yeah... we should set up the drinks table.

Mahogany: okay then. *pulls out a table*

Qibli: do you just have tables lying around in your cave?

Mahogany: for all occasions.

Qibli: cool!

Mahogany: what drinks should there be?

Qibli: I don't really know, just something.

Mahogany: water it is.

Glory: hey guys, I'm kinda early, what's up?

Qibli: oh hey! Could you help us with setting up?

Glory: sure! What's there to do?

Mahogany: we need some lights hung up, but not much else.

Glory: okay. *sets up lights*

Mahogany: now we just need to wait.

*10 mins later*

Tsunami: hi guys, hope I'm not late!

Qibli: nearly the opposite, actually. You're the second one here!

Tsunami: cool! 

Clay: hey guys, what's going on? I heard there was a party!

Glory: you heard right!

Winter:I'm here too!

Kinkajou: me three!

Qibli: wassup guys!

Mahogany: glad to see you all!

Starflight: is this the cave?

Moonwatcher: yeah, I'm sure of it.

Qibli: Hey moon!

Moon: hi Qibli.

Starflight: hi guys!

Turtle: phew, that was quite a bit of a journey!

Kink: turtle! You're here!

Turtle: that I am!

Kinkajou: *hugs turtle*

Turtle: *hugs kinkajou*

Sunny: hi mahogany! Good to see you here!

Mahogany: the feeling's mutual. Also, now that you're here, we can start the party! *takes a glass of water and taps it so that it makes a tink sound* ahem! I would like to say a few words before we start.

First off, I want to thank you all for coming here. I really do appreciate it.  Second of all, I want to make a toast. To friendship.

Everyone: to friendship! *drink*

Mahogany: now we can start! 

Qibli: who wants to do truth or dare?

Winter, kinkajou, turtle, Clay, glory, and Moon: I do!

Tsunami: eh, I'll pass.

Sunny: me too.

Qibli: mahogany, you playing?

Mahogany: nah, I'll just watch the chaos unfold.

Qibli: k, I'll be the host then.

Winter: who gave you that authority?

Qibli: me.

Winter: wha-

Kinkajou: let's start already!

Qibli: alright, Moon goes first!

Moon: ok... Kinkajou, truth or dare?

Kinkajou: truth.

Moon: your opinion on sloths?

Kinkajou: they're the best!

Moon: ok, it's Glory's turn.

Glory: winter: truth or dare? 

Winter: dare sounds good, so I'll go with that.

Glory: I dare you to...

*the sound of people doing truth or dare is drowned out and we pan to the background, where sunny is approaching mahogany.*

Sunny: hey mahogany.

Mahogany: yes?

Sunny:  can we go for a flight? 

Mahogany: sure...

*sunny and mahogany start flying*

Sunny: do you know why I asked you to join me here?

Mahogany: not really...

Sunny: I wanted to tell you something.

Mahogany: what's that?

Sunny: well... I...I like you.

Mahogany (thought): this sounds like what Qibli predicted, but I just want to be sure.

Mahogany: i mean, yeah, we're friends, right?

Sunny: well... yeah, but I kinda hope we can be more than that...

Mahogany: sunny, are you saying...

Sunny: I like you, like, like like you.

Mahogany: ... wow.

Sunny: I'm sorry, that was probably too sudden, it's okay if you don't like me, we can just-

Mahogany: no, sunny. I meant wow as in wow, I didn't know  that she would like me back! 

Sunny: ... you like me back?

Mahogany: yeah, 100%! 

Sunny: do you want to be... you know, together?

Mahogany: of course!

Sunny: it's official then!

*Mahogany and Sunny hug midair, their wings beating together.*

Mahogany: do you want to go back to the party? 

Sunny: not just yet, I think I want to stay here for a bit.

And a successful finish to the Valentine's Day story! Thanks to those of you that read this, I really do appreciate y'all. Also thanks for 300 views, and happy Valentine's Day!

On another note, sunny and Mahogany are a new couple! Still can't think of a ship name though...
