Untamed Desires Pending To Be Fulfilled

The one whom you love the most, in reality hurts you the most. At least that's what her opinion was. According to the cult epic, a certain dark skinned and most beautiful lady on earth loved another dark skinned, scars filled skin made by bow, man. They were none other than Krishnaa (Draupadi) and Krishna(Arjun) respectively.

In the twelve years of Arjun's exile, many things have changed. Draupadi has now become a matured queen, mother of four, an able finance minister and a diplomat administrator. Her eldest son Prativindhya was now eleven years old, Shatanika was nine, Sutasom was five and Shrutsena was just two now. Her eldest son, before being a brother, was a father figure to his two brothers, as Shrutsen was too young to be nurtured by his brother. Sutsoma and Shatanika were closest to each other. The kind of fake fight relation Bheem and Nakul maintained, was carried out by Sutsoma and Satanika as well. Prativindhya, just like his father, was calm and composed and never lied. But unlike Dharmaraj, has fierceness, inherited from his mother. No Upapandavs were exception. All of them got the same trait of fierceness as fire and diplomatic behavior from their mother and the rest from their fathers. Shrutsena was way to young for his traits to be discovered. 

When Krishnaa's year with Arjun commenced during Arjun's self-choice exile, Panchali then renounced palatial joys and comforts. She did confirm her duties duly but lived like a sanyasi (Hermit). She wasn't disturbed by anyone. When the first time she decided to do this in Arjun's year, Prativindhya was too small, thus Panchali kept him with herself in her hut. When the other sons were born, Prativindhya was old enough to take care of himself. Despite him being grown up later, he and his brothers stayed with Panchali despite her inhibition as her life wasn't easy and devoid of palatial pleasures. Her sons couldn't afford to leave their mother alone in any situation she was in. Her heart filled by looking at his sons' devotion and love for her. Her husbands were supportive towards her this decision too. Thus Panchali, with utmost devotion, could adapt the hermit life for one year in each cycle. 

She was no more that emotional lover who had special emotions oly for her PAARTH. Her desires were fulfilled by the four Pandavs in his absence, but her love stricken heart, which broke multiple times due her Dharmaraj's marriage with Shivi Kumari Devika, her Vrikodar's (Bheem) marriage with Kashi Kumari Valandhara, her Ayurvedacharya's (Nakul) marriage with his distant cousin's daughter, Chedi Kumari Karenumati, daughter of Sishupal, her Trikaldarshi Jyotish Visharad's (Sahadev) marriage with his OWN cousin, Madra kumari Vijaya and at last by her most favored husband,  Paarth Dhanajaya's two marriages, one with Naga kumari Uloopi and second with Manipur kumari Chitrangada during exile. She was only heart broken till then as none of them brought their wives along , respecting her feelings and keeping the vow intact. These marriages,(NOT ARJUN'S AS HE WAS IN EXILE) she understood were required from politics' perspective and all of them married with her consent only, noy out of love but for carrying out royal duty. Nonetheless her heart is way too foolish to understand this fact.  But she was completely shattered when he heard Paarth married Chitrangada and Subhadra out of love and not for any political alliance, though later he obtained the alliance. And by sprinkling salt on her fresh wounds, he even brought his wife Subhadra, his OWN wife along with their two year old child Abhimanyu. Panchali's  foolish, immature and vulnerable heart  couldn't take this breakdown. She was matured, fierce yet kind-hearted but from heart, she was a mere innocent and immature child, tends to live her missed out childhood. However, this vulnerable heart of hers now was completely exhausted from all breakdowns. 

This ongoing year was her year with Arjun. So as usual after completing her duties in palace, feeding her sons and breast-feeding her and youngest husband's love version Shrutsen, made all her sons take a nap in evening and was about to have her minimal lunch in her secret garden where she led her hermit life, when suddenly her personal maid, whom she brought from Panchal, who was more of a friend to her then maid, came to her with tears and informed her about the returning of Arjun and her wife. Panchali was shocked to core and forgot to react to the fresh news begotten by her. When realization dawned her, she was infuriated. She denied allowance for the entrance of Arjun and his family in the town . Her father Agni dev was furious too at his son-in-law's behavior. He trusted him the most and made Panchali for him only, nonetheless her pious daughter was divided, but to respect her real husband and his son-in-law, he gifted him GANDIV as he was the most capable of receiving it and thus was the right owner of it but still somewhere it signified Agni's different and more fatherly approach towards Arjun. For the sole reason for hurting her daughter, Agni blocked Arjun from entering the city, Palace was too far. Later Subhadra dressed up like a milkmaid to surrender herself to Drauapdi. She successfully made Draupadi accept her and Draupadi too did so with eagerness, as she didn't hold any grudge against her and she was like a sister to her as Panchali's best friend, her Govind was Subhadra's brother thus Subhdra was bound to be a sister to Panchali as well. She embraced Abhimanyu with full fledged motherly love and thus they two became her favorite in no time but Panchali's forgiveness didn't extend to Arjun.
