The Assassin's goal

I read the documents..
i saw a name ryuu? the mysterious hero that everyone talks about theses days.
is she the new target? no way.
i headed over to HD & my set was already reserved, everyone looks at me & i give them a slight smile nothing too serious.
i sat down in my seat
"boss said he should be here any minute"
i looked at Nyla , "alright.. question do you know who the new target is?"
"not quite sure" nyla responded
i sigh , im so eager to know.
the boss walks in & he sits down at the end of the table, waitresses come over to give him tea foe the meeting.
"Alright should i start."
nervousness overcomes me as he speaks
"Today we are looking at Rival 01842, Ryuu Evans known as the Dark hero Knight."
everyone looked speechless, i was quite stunned but not surprised as i had already saw documents from before about her.
"she is a MAJOR threat to us, how? she stole papers from the GOT for her plan that we have been researching for years.
thoses papers leads to us, as we aren't trying to get caught doing our crim- i meant wonderful work.
she is trying to take down us, one of our team members had spied on her & tried to capture her though it was unsuccessful, she found something that is the key to this program. to you.
lets just say we will never see 021 again. but hes out there somewhere & we will get him back & punish her for the crime"
he looked mad, furious, he had anger built up for years it looked like.
the case looks pretty intense already just knowing the description, but i think whoever he sends got this mission.
i was taking notes to program about this case later.
"Haley."
i look up, he is calling my name.
"yes sir?"
"the head team & i had gathered infomation & we were thinkinng you could lead this one.
you are the only good skilled assassin who can take down someone like this."
i looked confused, that wasn't my job, plus when was i out of the head team department?
"excuse me sir but everyone else is qualified too, why me?"
"see they work better as a team..
haley were sending you out alone."
my eyes lit up, shocked.
i.. i never got sented out for a mission alone especially when its a "hero".
"i will not have backup?"
"no. haley, sweetheart" ew.. im disgusted. "this is for the good i swear, if you need any help you always know we can provide it but for now you will be going alone."
this isn't fair, really it isn't.
"when was i out if the head department? why didn't i know ANYTHING ? i couldve prepared sir for this mission.
you waited until last minute?"
he stood up, took a breath.
"you ARE still part of the head department, never said you were not.
i didn't tell you because i thought you would be alright with it. now you have two choices.
complete the mission or unknown"
i wanted to cry , hit him.
let all of my bulit up anger out but i cant because he is my boss.
no matter what i have to do this.
"fine, ill do it." i said
im gonna regret this aren't i?
"excellent we will get you prepared, you are leaving in 3 hours." he replied
great.. what a great day already.
