Chapter 16 - Bets

Tommy's POV

It was official. Everyone was gone. Tubbo and Ranboo came over to comfort me due to my losses, but it still felt the same. It was cold at night without Y/N there cuddling me until it was time for her to go home. All I heard was silence without Y/N's occasional laugh. The world was dark without her smile that could light up my whole universe. I was all alone in a world where there was no happiness. No Y/N.

I kept calling trying to reach her to no advantage. It's been a week now. What was left to do? Tubbo walked into the room with Ranboo in tow. They were laughing at something, but when they saw my phone in my hand and heard Y/N's voice playing through the speakers they stopped.

"Tommy, you have got to stop torturing yourself," says Ranboo as he walks over to the bed where I was seated.

"Yeah, man, I'm sure you'll find someone else eventually," agrees Tubbo.

"I don't want anyone else!" I yell. "I want Y/N."

"Well, have you tried talking to her?" asks Ranboo. Tubbo and I look at him with an annoyed expression. I held up my phone.

"Clearly," says Tubbo.

"No, I mean actually tried to talk to her," he says. He could see we were still confused. "Like off of the phone. As in face-to-face. As in real life."

"Ooooooooh," Tubbo and I drag out in unison.

"Yeah," he says. "Did we just forget that IRL was an actual thing?"

"Yep," I say.

"Sorta," agrees Tubbo at the same time.

Ranboo rolls his eyes and sighs, "Maybe you should give it a shot."

"What if she doesn't want to talk to me anymore?" I ask.

"I highly doubt that," Tubbo and Ranboo exclaim at the same time.

"How so?" I ask.

"First, when you guys were together, you two were literally the definition of clingy," says Tubbo.

"Second, she literally chased through woods she had most likely never been in her entire life," adds Ranboo.

"Third, she obviously wants to respect you and Wilbur's boundaries if she hasn't shown up yet," Tubbo continues.

"We have a literal whole list of reasons why she would still talk to you," Ranboo says.

"Those things are just not good enough," I say. "I mean, she probably stayed away because she found someone else."

"I guarantee you she hasn't," Ranboo says.

"Yea, she's hooked for life," Tubbo says. "How about we make a bet?"

"Depends what's the terms?" I ask. I was always up for a challenge.

"200 subs from each of us if she doesn't talk to you," says Tubbo. "If she does 200 to each of us from you."

"What's the catch?" I ask.

"No catch," says Tubbo. "I'm a man of my word."

"Deal?" asks Tubbo.

I stare at his hand for a second and then take it with a quick and firm shake, "Deal."
