Jimin was a country music aficionado, which was a bully for Taehyung. The range of 'country' had at least been widely diverse, from the man who had sang all about being a 'country boy' to the irrate woman who had taken a 'Louisville slugger to both headlights'.

But there was one song that had stayed with him since the first time he heard it, and Taehyung had listened to it multiple times throughout his journey. The words lingered in his mind... bothering him.

Taehyung felt himself taking a deep breath and prepared himself as the guitar strings began to twang once more.

My life is likened to a bargain store

And I may have just what you're looking for

If you don't mind the fact that all the merchandise is used

But with a little mending it could be as good as new

Taehyung was on the verge of crying. The song was clearly about rediscovering love, but it wasn't what moved him the most.

Taehyung was uninterested in the love element. It was the first eight words that compared his life to a cheap bargain store.

And Taehyung determined that yeah, his life did feel like that just now — used up, but yet for sale.

Then there was Jungkook, a prospective second time buyer.

How depressing.

Why you take for instance this old broken heart

If you will just replace the missing parts

You would be surprised to find how good it really is

Take and you never will be sorry that you did

Taehyung wasn't convinced on that point. He had a sneaking suspicion that if Jungkook went through with it, he would be disappointed.

Taehyung may have been a 'used bargain,' but he was surely not a 'prize'.

He didn't have much to give anyone, let alone someone as powerful as Jeon Jungkook. What could he possible give him when he already 'had it all' in life?

The bargain store is open come inside

You can easily afford the price

Love is all you need to purchase all the merchandise

And I can guarantee you'll be completely satisfied

Having a price tag of around $170,000/- it was open and desperate. In his opinion, it wasn't a good deal, but he wasn't wealthy also. He imagined that a man like Jungkook could not think the sum is that significant.

Oh, the feeling of having your entire existence hanging in the balance in the hands of a stranger, waiting for one man's choice that might determine your making or downfall in life. It was all quite frightening.

Taehyung, as determined as he was, couldn't deny how much this was bothering... terrifying him.

Was Taehyung a bad person for what he's done? Shouldn't he have just conceded defeat months ago... embrace the fact that some people are simply not intended to go on and experience new things? Was Taehyung a greedy for wanting a better life?

Take these old used memories from the past

And these broken dreams and plans that didn't last

I'll trade the for a future, I can't use them anymore
