11) Dancing it out

The air, though cold, felt great. Both the boys were racing down the street when Taehyung stopped. He asked Jeongukk to get up and parked the bike near the sidewalk.

"Stay here. I'll be back." Taehyung ordered. He took Jeongukk's hand and made him sit on the now parked bike.

"Why? What happened? Can I come too? Where are you going?" Jeongukk enquired with a pout.

"Stay here bunny. Don't move. I'll be back in a second." Taehyung answered and gave him an assurring smile.

He dashed over to the opposite side of the street and was soon out of Jeongukk's view.

"Taehyung hyung! It's so good to see you." A voice chirped.

"Hey Soobin. It's good to see you too. I need a favour." Taehyung said entering Soobin's shop.

Five minutes later, Jeongukk saw Taehyung running back to him. His hands held two bags. Upon reaching, Taehyung handed over the big bag to Jeongukk. "Here."

Jeongukk peeked inside and squealed." Hyungie these are so beautiful! Are these for me? Thank you!" The bag had a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The flowers melted Jeongukk's heart. They were just so pretty!

"Nope. These are for Yugyeom, bunny," Taehyung replied haughtily, hiding a smile.

Jeongukk's smile fell. He had thought Taehyung had brought the flowers for him.

"Oh... uh.. okay. Thanks a lot for remembering, hyungie." He sulked and turned around, examining the bouquet.

Taehyung smiled at the adorable boy. He took out something from the smaller bag he had. He tapped Jeongukk's shoulder to catch his attention.

Jeongukk turned around to see Taehyung standing so close to him. Taehyung smelt nice every time. He looked up at his crush and saw him smiling. Confused, he raised his eyebrows and stepped back a little when he noticed that Taehyung had been holding something.

Taehyung held out the single pink rose he had been holding," for you." He said.

Jeongukk started blushing. He took the rose hesitantly. He smelt the flower and looked up at Taehyung to thank him.

"For what hyungie?" He asked. Taehyung winked at him.

"Come on. We are getting late" was the reply he received as Taehyung sat back on his bike, starting it.

The whole ride Jeongukk couldn't stop smiling, neither could Taehyung who was glancing at the boy through the front mirrors occasionally.

They finally reached their destination, 'Vagabonds'. Taehyung took his steps steadily towards the entrance where a bouncer was verifying the ids of some people. Taehyung looked to his side but found no one. He looked back and saw Jeongukk fidgeting. He sighed and approached and offered him his hand. Jeongukk looked at the hand held out and took a deep breath. He glanced up at Taehyung and took his hand offering him a small hesitant smile.

"I am here, kooks. Let's go and have some fun, okay?" Taehyung reassured Jeongukk, rubbing his hand. Jeongukk was grateful to have someone like Taehyung in his life.

Both the boys started to approach the entrance, hand in hand. Though their linked hands made them feel butterflies, they were praying for the bouncer to not ask for their ids because Jeongukk had left his wallet at home when his sister had thrown him out.

A big guy was guarding the entrance of the 'Vagabonds'. When both of them reached, Taehyung was instantly asked for his id first. Taehyung took out his ID proof confidently. Upon showing his id he linked his and Jungkook's hand back again. The bouncer looked at their hands and asked Taehyung,"Boyfriend?"
