I added some parts to this chapter and cleaned it up some. There are more dialogue parts, but again it does not change the story, if you don't want to reread it.

Beep. Beep. Beep.
I groan as I roll over and hit the clock sitting on the night stand next to my bed. It takes a couple hits to actually cut off. I leave my head buried in my pillow to block out any light.
I lay there for five minutes unable to get up. Before finally slowly rolling over onto my back and sitting up, leaving my eyes closed because I know the light is going to burn them.
Mondays. Whoever decided waking up this early was a good idea is out of their mind.
I swing my legs out of bed and finally open up my eyes. I head to the bathroom to start getting ready for school.
After a quick shower to wake me up, I throw on a pair of light ripped skinny jeans and a black v neck tank top with my red and black flannel. I look at myself in the mirror as i slip on my white all star converses.
I smile at my normal attire. Comfortable, but cute. Just how I like it.
I apply a small amount of mascara to my lashes and brush out my tangles, then I'm heading downstairs to eat breakfast.
I have never been one to take forever to get ready. I hate wearing make up, and I don't see the point in wearing fancy clothes if I'm going to be adjusting and fidgeting with the outfit all day. So, I always go with the simple look. Like the saying, "less is more". I live by that.
In the kitchen, I throw away the pizza box from last night while I grab a pack of blueberry pop tarts. Josh and I had stayed up way past midnight watching movies and eating pizza. I'm exhausted from staying up, but I love the time I was able to spend with my brother since he doesn't get to be here that much anymore. He left early this morning for campus, so I won't be able to see him for a while.
I glance at the clock as I grab a bottle of orange juice from the fridge. I pop the top and take a sip as I yell bye to my mom.
Once I'm in my truck and heading down the road, I call Kylie and tell her that I'm on my way. Kylie and I have always rode to school together, occasionally Hunter joins us, but mostly only in the spring since he always has practice in the fall.
When I pull up outside her house, I honk the horn and sit back as i enjoy my pop tart. I glance up and watch her walk to my car. I notice her mom at the door, looking like she is telling Kylie something, I wave a hello to her and she waves back, a warm smile on her face.
Unlike me, Kylie is morning person. As she walks towards my car she has a bounce in her step, you would think by now I'd be used to her happy self, but I honestly don't think I ever will be.
She hops in the truck, and plugs her phone into my radio. Her music blasts through the speakers and I automatically cut it down shooting her a glare.
She chuckles and gets buckled, "I see someone is as happy as ever this morning", she comments sarcastically.
I roll my eyes and pull away from the curb, and starts driving towards the school.
The drive is short, but with Kylie talking the whole time it felt more like 5 hours. She wouldn't stop talking about some party that happened on Saturday. I ended up zoning out after a minute into it, just giving the occasional "mhm" "ooh" and "yeah". Kylie knew I wasn't listening, but she let it slide. Honestly I think she likes hearing herself talk.
