Mason's POV

We all rushed outside to find Hazel throwing Brandon into a boulder, head first. Hazel started to walk towards him and Brandon started to try to crawl away, but Hazel grabbed him by his leg and pulled him toward her. "DON'T YOU TRY TO CRAWL AWAY FEOM ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU! I LOVED YOU DEARLY TO FIND OUT THAT YOU'VE HIDDEN SECRETS FROM ME!" she screamed at him.

Well, at least I know not to upset her. " I HAVE SAT BACK AND KEPT QUIET TRYING TO BE A LITTLE ANGEL! MY LIFE IS ALL SCREWED UP AND I THOUGHT THAT YOU'D BE THERE BY MY SIDE TO HELP ME THREW IT ALL! WE ARE DONE!" Hazel screamed. She grabbed Brandon by the throat and slid him up a tree, I saw that he was turning an unusual purple color. Blood slid up the tree from Brandon's head.

Brandon's eyes closed and he fell unconscious, but Hazel opened his eyes with her bloody fingers and screamed, "DON'T YOU DARE GO UNCONSCIOUS ON ME!" she finally let him go and he dropped down to the ground with a loud thud! I quickly ran over to him and checked his pulse. He's barely making it, he is on the verge of dying. I looked behind me screaming, " Somebody help him! Don't just sit there and stare at him dying!" Alice quickly rose her hands over his chest and her hands started to glow blue for a while. "Oh so now he as her healing him! GET UP YOU COWARD STOP FAKING YOUR STUPID DEATH!" Hazel was being a brat right now.

I stood up and got up in her face," Why don't you shut up and go cool off somewhere!" I told her. My expression was hard as stone," Don't tell me what to do cause you aren't my father! So you can just shut up cause you were there for me!" she screamed at me. "Actually I am your father! Who do you think gave birth to you," I yelled at her, "that lame excuse Alessio you call a father!" I was now pointing at an innocent looking Alessio.

"DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT ALESSIO LIKE THAT! AT LEAST HE'S BEEN THERE FOR ME WHEN YOU WEREN'T. I THOUGHT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MY FATHER! YOU WEREN'T THERE FOR ME!" she screamed at me.

"Oh baby girl, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. Your mother ran away when she had found out that she was pregnant and every time I would visit you in your crib at night, she would slash me on the back with her black whip and she even carved her name in my back." I confessed.

"Can I see it?" Hazel asked calmly. I nodded my head and took off my shirt, she gasped. She put her hand on my back, but quickly took it off when I gasped out of pain. "I didn't know she was capable of doing this. Meet me up the tallest tree in an hour." she told me crying, then she stopped and her face turned dark,

" This means war. Nobody messes with my family."

Hazel scares me sometimes, but she gets it from her mother. A hour later and I was still trying to figure out how to climb this tall tree to get to the top. Hazel hopped down from out of nowhere and she said, " Sorry I forgot you hop from tree to tree. Take my hand." I took her hand and she teleported us on top of the tree."Follow me." Was all she had said to me.

She started to walk from on top of the tree into mid air, I couldn't tell if whether she was flying or not. I followed her inside of a tree. As soon as we were in she sat down and started to float, "Sit down in the chair, just be careful everything here is made of glass." I walked over across from her and sat down, only to fall flat on my butt.

"There's nothing there, what are you talking about!" I yelled at her. She growled at me,"Lower your tone when you are talking to me and in here, for this is ancient grounds and you aren't even supposed to be here. Now, be still cause I have to give you the sight to see the impossible and incredible. " she started to walk over to a cauldron with a knife, a cup ,and some other things that didn't look like it was made on Earth.

Hazel's POV

I grabbed the packet of Unicorn powder, a packet of Faerie dust, a shot of Wolf venom, a Garlic Tincture, a shot of Vampire venom, and a Stinging Nettles mixture, I threw all of the ingredients into my cauldron and mixed them in together and chanted the enchantment:

Darksome night and shining moon,

Hearken to the witches' rune.

East then South, West then North,

Hear! Come! I call thee forth!

By all the powers of land and sea,

Be obedient unto me.

Wand and Pentacle and Sword,

Hearken ye unto my word.

Cords and Censer, Scourge and Knife,

Waken all ye into life.

Powers of the witch's Blade,

Come ye as the charge is made.

Queen of Heaven, Queen of Hell,

Send your aid unto the spell.

Horned Hunter of the night,

Work my will by magic rite.

By all the powers of land and sea,

As I do say, "So mote it be."

By all the might of moon and sun,

As I do will, it shall be done.

I saw that Mason's head started to spin in circles, so I quickly ran behind him and caught him. "Sorry dad, rules are rules, and you know too much and have seen more than you should've seen. Plus, you can save me and the rest of us Hybrids." I smiled wickedly and teleported to the palace of Gullveig which was the home of Vampires, Lycanthropes, Witches/ Warlocks, Faeries, Hybrids, and the unknown.
