Awake

Valentina's POV

 When I woke up, I noticed that I was not at the house, but I was laying on a table. It's not safe here, they'll find me here, we have to go my place. I ran to Nikolai's body,"Sorry, had to do it. It's for your safety." I whispered in his ear then kissing his forehead. Hazel walked in the room and before she could say anything, I cut her off,"We have to go now, they're coming. We can go to my place."

She nodded her head, she knew that everything I've ever said was true. "Why do you always have to leave and take Hazel with you?", Amaryllis.

Amaryllis' POV

 Hazel's mother gave me a death glare. Man... if looks could kill, everyone would be dead by now.

"Because it's my job and she's my daughter! If you have a problem with me keeping my daughter safe from people like you, then make an appointment!" she screamed at me.

She walked over behind me and started whispering words into my ear, " Dormiunt, nocte dormiunt, et iterum oblitus. Obedire et colit: cum excitaret."

I felt me my legs buckle from under me and Valentina caught me, "Nighty night. Trust me, you'l learn a lesson after you wake up from this." she smiled wickedly from ear to ear.

"You spoiled little de...a.." I word started to slur when I fell into darkness.

Nikolai's POV

I woke up in a bed in a room made of glass my vision was extremely blurry. I tried to sit up but a little girl with deep red hair wearing a short black and grey dress pushed me back down harshly, "OW! WHAT WAS TH-"

"Shhhh, hehehe! She coming!" she giggled pulling me under the bed with her.

"Who's com-" I started to ask when I heard someone.

"Hmmmm.... I wonder where my little Crimson Curse is? Last time I checked, my children's bed didn't feet with black combat boots." the woman's voice said.

The little girl got dragged from under the bed and picked up, and I quickly got from under the bed to find Valentina flip her high up into the air and step back. When I looked up, the little girl was doing a backflip round off 30 or 50 times, in mid air. Valentina then got down on one knee and put her hands flat on top of each other out in front of her. The little girl landed into a backflip jumping back into a front flip, bouncing off of Valentina's hands with one foot, and landing straight onto the ground perfectly.

"That's my little girl!" Valentina said cheery.

The little girl said, " Hi Cherry est nomen meum! Mihi tu videris terribilis! Wanna lascivio video venatus postea sub?

Hi my name is Cherry! I like you, you seem awesome! Wanna play video games later?"

Valentina walked over to her and whispered in her ear, "Sweetie, Nikolai doesn't speak Latin. So, as much as you hate speaking English, you have to."

Valentina scowled at Cherry. She started to sniff me and circle me like a piece of meat,"You smell disgusting you bloodsucker!"

After a while she screamed,"MINE!" I was petrified because she almost jumped me but Valentina pulled her back.

Wow, how does a little girl go from Heaven to creepy? "You don't smell to nice either." I lied. She smelt like a tropical rain forest which was kinda weird, considering Valentina smelt like blood and death. Valentina quickly grabbed Cherry's arm harshly and said,"You will not disrespect your older brother like that, do you understand me?"

"Mom... I think I found him." Cherry whispered to Valentina in shock.

"You're too young, how?" Cherry shrugged her shoulders,"He must have that kind of blood in him. I'll talk to him ok, but for now I need you to stay away from him and that's a command." Valentina said in this voice that was just so intimidating.

Who or what is this 'him' that Cherry is talking about? What blood? Why did Cherry call Nikolai hers'? And why did Valentina command Cherry to stay away from little Nikki?
