Back in the Devildom, the brothers stay up late into the night gathered in the common room of the House of Lamentations, all refusing to make eye contact with each other. Though their clean up duties had been finished a while ago, none of them can find it in themselves to sleep after what happened, not even the Avatar of Sloth.

A long silence clouds the room before Beel takes the chance to be the first to open up a discussion. "Do you think we should apologise to (MC)?" he appears nervous just by mentioning your name. "They looked... really upset with us. Maybe we were a little harsh with them."

"I don't think they're in the mood to talk to us right now, Beel. We should give them some time before we say anything," Satan answers the question, though unsure if what he said is the right thing to do. Tired and doubtful of himself, he sighs and sets a hand on his forehead. "I don't know anymore, you figure it out."

Mammon crosses his leg over the other and anxiously bites his thumb nail. "Ya think (MC) was tellin' the truth?" he brings up another mystery that has yet to be solved among them. The brothers all look his way with a remorseful expression.

"Maybe? But (O/N) said- Oh, now I don't know what to think," Asmo buries his face into his hands as his mind can't seem to choose between (O/N)'s words or yours.

"Let's stop talking about this already. We can just talk in the morning instead of jumping to more conclusions. What we're thinking's probably far from the truth anyway," Levi tries to bring a stop to the conversation, getting more uncomfortable by the second as the pressure settles in.

Belphie sides with the third eldest, "Yeah, just listen to Levi. No one's thinking straight right now and we don't want to make (MC) anymore mad."

Nobody says a word but it's clear that everyone in the room agrees as they rise from their spots on the lounges and begin heading to their bedrooms. Looking at the time now, going to sleep doesn't seem to be worth it as they'll have to be up and going in a matter of hours anyway.

As their younger brothers turn the corridor, Mammon and Lucifer are left alone. The Avatar of Greed stands, and runs a hand through his hair before scratching his head as the internal wars inside his mind cause his head to throb.

He turns to his older brother with desperate eyes, "Hey, Lucifer. Ya haven't said anythin' in a while... We could really use your help right now, y'know."

Thumb brushing against his own lip as his chin rests on his hand, the Avatar of Pride still remains silent as his eyes dart towards Mammon. His words to you were the last thing anyone in the room heard him say, and he's kept quiet ever since.

"Don't know either, huh?" the second born chuckles out of disbelief, dumbfounded by the fact that even Lucifer doesn't know how to handle this. "Guess we just do what Levi says then..."

"Hold on," the eldest finally utters, his voice barely audible. "Let's bring (MC) home first."

Mammon wrinkles his nose, thinking twice before acting. "They said they didn't want to stay here, didn't ya hear? Forcin' them to come home, we're gonna be askin' for more trouble if we do that."

Lucifer leaves the chair, the light of the roaring fireplace cast on his face as he's no longer willing to display any sort of emotion. "I'm not comfortable with the idea of them trying to find somewhere else to stay at this time of night. It's late, and cold," the Avatar of Pride swings his coat around his shoulders.

The second born follows in the steps of his eldest brother begrudgingly, adorning his own jacket and getting ready to set out. "Fine, but let's make it quick. Everythin's way too awkward between all of us right now."
