Chapter 2

It was him.

Liam Payne.

The boy who broke my heart.

*FLASHBACK*

Liam called me about an hour ago saying he needed to talk to me. He sounded serious and His voice full of sadness so I knew it was important. I just wondered what he has to talk to me about.

Then I heard the door bell ring.

I ran from my room to downstairs quickly and opened the door. I told Liam to come it and I ran and jumped on the couch. I patted the seat beside me and he sat down.

"So, whatcha want to talk about?" I said happily, not expecting what I was about to hear.

"Well, remember two years ago when I auditioned for the xfactor?" He asked.

Of course I remember it, I didn't get to see him for like three months!

"Yeah" I said.

"Well, I was thinking about auditioning again this year. Maybe I could get somewhere" he shrugged "and I came to you because I thought that you could help me decide" I smiled at the fact he came to me, not his mom, just me. His best friend.

"I think you should go for it!" I said having a huge grin on my face. It would be amazing for Liam to win. He could be a world wide pop star. It would be so great for him.

"You really think so? What if I don't get through?" He said locking his stare with mine. How stupid is this boy? Of course he will get through.

"Liam, you are an incredible singer! You will have to get through!" I said making gestures with my hands.

"Thanks Bella!" He said and brought me into a hug. I let go from his grip.

"I will let you go under one condition!" I smirked as he returned it.

"Anything!" He said.

"Okay, you have to promise me that you will keep in touch with me every single day no matter what!" He smiled.

"Of course I will Bella bear! I did last time I was on right?"

"Best friends forever?" I held up my pinky.

"Best friends forever" he repeated as a statement and gripped my pinky with his. We made a promise to be best friends forever, or so I thought.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"Bella?" I heard Liam asked in shock.

I'm surprised he still remembers me. After we promised to keep in touch and be best friends, he broke it. And he never broke a promise. After he and the other boys got put together and preformed at the judges house, he would only call me once a week. The he just plain out stopped calling. I tried calling him but he never answered. Later I found out that his phone got taken off the line. I tried skypeing him but he was never online. There was no way I could keep in touch with him and I felt like I was never wanted. I went into a depression but once my parents divorced, me and my mom moved away from Wolverhampton and came to London. I then met a new best friend. She helped me out of my depression but I still cried because of Liam.

I didn't answer Liam. Instead I ran to the back and leaned against a wall and dropped to the floor. I started crying my eyes out, putting my hands on top oF my knees and placing my head on my hands.

I heard my mom walk over to me.

"Sweetie what's wrong?" She asked leaning down beside me.

"Liam's here" I said through my tears. She stood up and walked over to the cash register. I guess she went to take his order or something. I just stayed at my place and continued crying.

About five minutes later my mom came back.

"Sweetie it's okay-" she tried to say but I cut her off.

"Mom, no it's not! That boy hurt me! I never wanted to see him again!" I managed to yell.

"Look Bella. Maybe you shouldn't run away from him. Maybe you should talk to him about it and make things better." She said as she rested her hand on my leg.

"No! I though he was my best friend. I thought he loved me but I was wrong. If he cared about me, he would have called. He would have answered me and not try to ignore me! He wouldn't have disconnected his freakin phone!" I sobbed.

"Bella, he was your friend and he did care about you. What I'm saying is he may have an explanation for every thing." She tried to persuade me. There is no way I'm going to forgive him just because he says he was sorry.

"Go talk to him" she tried. I finally gave in.

"Okay but I'm not going to completely forgive him!" I said. The tears had stopped now and I made my way to the tabled I saw him sitting at. I took a deep breath and walked up to him.

"Hey Bella!" Liam said as a huge grin grew on his face.
