Hamilton's pov

As Isa, Lafayette, Mulligan, Laurens and I were walking to the student quarters with the dorms, we were having fun, we could tell we'd be good friends. But when we were walking Mulligan must've said something hurtful cause next thing I knew Isabel was kinda ignoring him now. We all looked dumb founded.

"Isa please, you know he doesn't know that hurts you!" Lafayette called out to her. "Please! Just hear hi-"

"No, Not right now, I want to get unpacked and get my mind off that." And she started to bolt. Great. Just what we needed. "I'm going after her" Laurens said."what? Why? Laurens, dude, you're cool and everything but she's scary when she's mad, you did see her yell at Jefferson, correct? She made him cower, she made a 20 year old cower! She's even worse when someone says that, nothing against you Mulligan, you didn't know. But stil-" "I don't care, Lafayette, she is my friend and I'm gonna find out what's wrong with her and what was hurtful about it. If she cusses me out, that's fine. I just want to know what's upsetting her." Laurens protested and ran off towards her.

Isabel's Pov

I felt my eyes start watering up when I was running to find my dorm.

"Isabel! Wait!" I heard Laurens, I just kept running. I honestly had no clue where my dorm was so I just looking for room B-26, with tearful eyes. It was hard to read. I found it and I went in, thank gosh, I was alone in there for a minute. A minute. Then Laurens came running in, he sat down next to me on the bed where I curled up in a small ball, my comfort sitting position. "Hey please tell me what's up? I know you just met me, but I care for you already."

Lauren's pov

I don't know what it was but, I think I might've just fallen in love with Isabel Francis.

"It's just, when Mulligan said *'like a mom who hurts her daughter, and forgets who she is'* hurt, you know? And he said it in a joking matter.." when tears started flowing down her face I wiped them off. "It only hurt because that's exactly how my mom was, my father was the one who protected me from her. Sure she had her good moments but-" "No you wanna know what Alex told me when we were seniors in high school?" She nodded. "Compare the amount of times she's hurt you on any way shape or form, to the amount of times she has done something good for you, which one outnumbers it?"

It took her a minute to think but she mumbled, "Bad.."

"Then she's an overall bad parent and doesn't deserve you as a daughter, if she forgets your name and hurts you, that's just the definition of a bad parent." She stayed quiet. "My mother and father are dead, though.. they died when I was four. But Laurens, it's still my fault! I never told Mulligan that bothered me. He didn't know, I shouldn't have left like that, I should've list-" I cut her off again. "You shouldn't feel bad about it. He should've watched his mouth. Lafayette told him when he was telling us about you that you were sensitive to certain things. He should've priced things together that you were the girl that you're the girl he's been talking about." I wiped her tears away again. Then she smiled.

Eliza's pov

AngelicAaAaaA😇💖: Hey Eliza, where are you?

ElizaaAaaAaa🥰💙: I'm trying to find my dorm, B-26

And Peggy✨💛: Gelica? Liza? Where are you both?

ElizaaAaaAaa 🥰💙: I'm in the student quarters.

AngelicAaAaaA 😇💖: idk where I am, I'm just wandering around :)

And Peggy ✨💛: Oki!

After walking a few times around I found it!! I felt accomplished. I was happy. I found it. I walked in and seen two others, one a guy, which scared me for a second, and the other was a girl.

"Hi!" the girl said, and the guy just waved. The girl looked as if she was crying and asked

"Hey, you alright?" She took a second to nod.

"I'm gonna go- bye Isabel I'll see you. Bye miss. John Laurens, out" and he was gone.

"Elizabeth Schuyler"

"Isabel Francis"

Lauren's pov

Oh my gosh. Was it something in her eyes? Was it the was she talks? Was the way she smiled? Was it the way she sees the world similar to how I do? What was it that made me fall in love with her? I want to know. I couldn't stop thinking about her. Pull yourself together John!! You just met her. I ran back to Hamilton, Mulligan, and Lafayette.

"Laurens! Why is your face red? Did she punch you? Does she hate you? Did she slam the door in your face? Did she-" Hamilton had started asking way to many questions to process so Lafayette have him the look. "Sorry" he muttered.

"I think I like Isabel.." I muttered. I got looks from all three of them "duuude" and Mulligan smirked as he said that. "Shut up!" I said to them as I walked towards a bench and sat, them out my head into my hands. "I'm panicking. I've not even known her for 2 weeks into college, not even the first day of classes, and I've already caught feelings for somebody." I said.
