HS cast Khris

Part five

I get up and connect my phone to my speaker, as one of my favorite songs "good looking" by suki Waterhouse come up I get ready for my meeting with Yasmin... or should I say ms. Yasmin seeing as she will be my boss in a few days, speaking of work I searched up what an assistant does and they mainly focus on managing a persons work life. They would pick up calls for them and set they're schedule to make sure that person is on track. Seems pretty easy, well for me I always kept track of my life so keeping track of another's couldn't be so hard.. right. One problem with being an assistant would be the necessity of a computer, I have one but it's super old and I really need a new one so I could be more efficient and useful for ms. Yasmin. I'm ready to leave my house and decide to show up early, me and ms. Yasmin decided to go to a local restaurant and talk over dinner, with that being said I grab my Keys and head out for the restaurant. When I show up I see Yasmin waiting for me and I check the time scared I got it mixed up so instead of showing up early I showed up late. The time is fine so I sit down across from her and say hello.

Yasmin:
"Hey"
Khris:
" hey"
Yasmin:
"I'm surprised you showed up so early"
Khris:
" yeah.. thought I should show some initiative by being here but seems your the earlier bird"
Yasmin:
"How are you? We haven't talked in person sinse the bar situation and the "
Khris:
"Yeah I've been good. I was really freaking out bout my job, or lack of until you called me"
Yasmin:
"Yeah, so getting into this job offer I proposed. I want to hire you as my assistant, with this comes managing my business and sometimes running errands with and for me sometimes, do you understand?"
Khris:
" yeah I got it, but I do need to buy a new laptop. Mine is pretty beat up and old. And a "new" phone so I can use it for business calls"
Yasmin:
" ooh don't worry bout that, I've got that covered for you"

She hands me a bag as she says this. I look up to her and she motions me to open it, at her request I open the bag and it reveals to be some pretty not new but also not old Samsung phone and a MacBook. I look back up to her but decide not to protest. All I can say is "I'll pay you back" in which she responds with  "no need I got it so you can help me" with this a smile is planted along my face. She then says " ooh also.. I kinda invited some of my friends over and they should be coming in about 10 minutes" with this reaching my ear I blush a big red tone  and foolishly say " oooh okay I'll get ready to leave then" Yasmin then responds with " wait what?!? No I want you to stay and meet them, you already have met most of them and you'll need to meat them pretty soon anyway" with this I sit down and we patently wait for her friends arrival. They all soon come as a group consisting of kit, Cormac, will, joe Locke, and rhea Norwood. I say hello to those I previously met from the bar situation and introduce myself to joe and rhea

Khris:
"Hey, I'm Khris, nice to meat you"
Joe & rhea:
"Nice to meat you to, we heard all about you from kit and the others, all good things by the way"

This phrase paints a smile along my face and we then all sit down and decide to order. Will and Cormac get a spaghetti of some kind, it wasn't the ordinary spaghetti and meatballs it was something else but I didn't hear what they ordered so I wouldn't be able to tell. Kit gets a cheese bread with some kind of soup, it wasn't tomato it had more of a yellow look to it and you could see the whole herbs the chefs added to the food. This is usually a give away as to what kind of soup it is but I still couldn't grasp on what it is, tomato soup is meant to be blended most of the time so to see chunks in the soup tells you what the soup is/isn't(I went to a culinary school before I ended in the UK). Joe and rhea ordered a "platter"( as in a small variety of foods) of different sandwiches that they decided to share seeing how they ate before this meeting. I decide to get a simple burger and fries seeing how I haven't had the chance to eat all that and needed something to fill me up for a while, I also got a avocado with some salt to balance out the meal a little. Yasmin decided to follow my lead but traded the fries for a salad seeing how the burger was primarily meat and it would be good to have some type of veggies to balance out the meal. Our food came in one by one and but the cast being so respectful of each other waited for all of us to have our food. We started eating after the last meal came in. We made small talk mainly focused on me seeing how I was the "child" of the group, or thats what Cormac said at least.I find out that me and the group have quite of few things in common, me and rhea have the same music taste, me and Cormac like the same show's and movie franchises, kit and I share the same love for fashion and photography. Me, will and  Joe love horror movies, and me and Yasmin love to go around London looking at peculiar things and we share the same love for the environment. Going outside was also a common theme with the group. We decide after we finish eating, paying our bill, and tipping our waitress we should go out and look around for stores to look at, me with a very limited budget for now only bought very few things but among these things was a very nice looking bomber that was mainly black with red and white accents and a red in seam. For some odd reason I always had an "dream" to obtain a bomber that looks just like this.
