HS cast Khris

Part six

I wake up to a kit Connor laying asleep opposite from me, he is drooling on the left side of his cheek. I couldn't resist so I got up and took a photo, he didn't wake up even after I climbed over his leg that was placed next to me, I always had very light footsteps and a "non- existent" presence, I decide to make a meal for the both of us knowing what time he had to be up. His and Yasmin's schedules are pretty intertwined with each other so I knew when he had to wake up for today. It was currently 5: 30 and he needed to be out by nine. The reason I woke up so early is mainly cause I know he would have to get home to change for the photoshoot. I turn on the pot of cinnamon and entero cloves to get rid of the smell of wood rot, as well as the eggs and bacon I'm about to make, for some reason those two things always made my stomach hurt. As I finish making the breakfast I realize it's six and kit should wake up soon so I go to my couch and wake him up with light taps to his head. No response so I decide to shake him softly which he responds with one of his eyes fluttering open. I remember back home one of my brothers always would wake up very scared if you shook him to fast, I guess I saw the same with kit. He wakes up and we have a conversation
Kit:
"Good morning"
Khris:
"Good morning"
Kit:
" what you making?"
Khris:
" eggs with cheese and some bacon, you allergic to any of those things?"
Kit:
"Nope, also your sixteen right?"
Khris:
" yeah, what about it?"
Kit:
" don't you go to school?"
Khris:
" naw, i study using online school websites and other things, But it's not a big deal I always make sure I could understand and I always study. Mainly mathematics, history, and science."
Kit:
"Do you wish to be in school?"
Khris:
"Not really, I don't have the time  or the funds But I would like to attend college physically if the price isn't soo bad, but I would need to find another place to live, if the wood rot enters my flat it wouldn't be safe for me to live here and I would end up homeless."
Kit:
"Well if that does happen then you could stay at mine."
Khris:
" wait.. really?"
Kit:
"Yeah!!"
Kit:
"Wait when were you born?"
Khris:
"2005"
Kit:
"Okay, sorry, I'm just trying to get a grasp on your situation. Does that sound bad, I don't mean it in a bad way I promise, its just if I had to guess your less fortunate than most people I know and I've never had to see someone l care about experience that."
Khris:
" what? Is your schooled filled with rich white boys who frequently have the new freshest kicks and designer clothes?"
Kit:
"I-"
Khris:
"Kit, relax I'm joking. Eat your food you have to leave for a photoshoot soon , and if you don't get to your flat you'll have to show up smelling like the street and bacon grease."
Khris:
"OOH- I forgot to do that today!"
Kit:
"Do what?"
Khris:
"Feed the cats that show up at my window most times."
I clean my hands and mouth after placing my fork down on my plate, I then grab my plate and place it into the sink. I crouch down grabbing the cat food in the cabinet I have saved for the strays. Kit follows me to the window and sees me place it down just outside my window, he also realizes the blankets I have layed down, I keep those out for cold days, the cats usually chill or I sometimes let them in so they can stay warm. Kit places his plate in the sink as he finished his food, he then turns on the sink and starts washing the dishes. I don't fight this time as I'm waiting for the cats to show up and eat my food. I decide they aren't coming anytime soon and lend kit a new brush for he to use to brush his teeth, I start to get ready with kit to leave for his flat so he can get ready for his photoshoot. Yasmin texted me earlier today so that I can be there. We walk to kits house seeing how it's not far from my house, we show up and kit immediately gets in for a shower. As he is showering I decide to set up all the things I need to do on my laptop to get ready for my first job. I also realize that my MacBook Yasmin have to me is able to connect to my gmail, contact's, and my calendar I set up almost immediately after getting my work phone. This MacBook makes this 100 times easier. The time is 7:12 when kit gets out of the shower. He gets dressed into some regular clothes as they will be changing at the set, he tries to sneak up on me but with his undeniably loud footsteps I ask him without looking back at him "what's up?"

Kit:
"How do you always know I'm behind you?"
Khris:
" I have good hearing and your footsteps are really loud."
Kit:
"You calling me fat?"
Khris:
"WHAT NO, I-"
Kit:
"Relax, I'm joking with you"
A sight of relief come from my mouth and we set off to meet some yasmin for the photo shoot. As I get into kits car and we drive off he plays some music, some songs I actually know. We make it to the photo shoot. The photos were some 1900 England bar setting and they came out really good in my opinion. Kit was frequently getting dressed in suits commonly colored blue and other some very earthy tones(brown, different shades of brown). Yasmin had dresses gold and other lighter earth tones like beige. The photos setting kinda reminded me of the kingsmen, that spy movie where they always dress themselves in those suits that kit was wearing but different colors. After the photo shoot me, kit, and Yasmin decided to have some lunch, we decided on something simple and went for a burger spot. As we were eating we got the news... HEART STOPPER SEASON 2&3 WERE ANNOUNCED. We freaked out together getting stares from people inside the shop with us, I understand why kit and Yasmin were happy, they built a new family with the other cast and the foundation was the presence of heartstopper, if the show was cancelled I don't think the cast as friends would've been the same. And I was happy for them, heartstopper meant so much to me and helped me get out of a really toxic relationship and life, if it wasn't for heartstopper I would've still been in that same spot having arguments with my mom and then forgiving her cause I felt trapped. After the lunch we had Yasmin left for some other things she had to attend, they weren't on her Schedule so I'm guessing they were errands or a hang out with some of her non cast friends. It was me and kit, the time was about 10:00 am and we really didn't know what to do. Kit decided to go to the gym . And I decided to head back home, I needed to pick up my skateboard so I can skate around for some "alone" time. As I was riding my skateboard I passed my old bar and said hi to my former boss. He started to apologize for what happened we did have a good boss-coworker relationship so I assured him I'm fine now and that there is no problem between us. As I leave the bar I bump into Cormac. We said our hellos and started to talk,

Khris:
"Hey"
Cormac:
"Hey"
Khris:
"Where are you heading to today?"
Cormac:
"Umm.. I'm just going for a walk to the store to grab some things, wanna tag along?"
Khris:
"Umm.. sure."
As me and cormac are walking we start talking, we didn't have much time to talk to each other at the dinner but I see him as my first friend of they're group. He stayed up with me for a little when I drove them home, and he was sweat enough to even let me stay at kits house even after not knowing me personally. That made me wonder so I asked him

Khris:
"Hey, why did you let me stay over when I drove you guys home?"
Cormac:
" I don't know.. I guess I could've seen that you were a good person off the bat, I know you wouldn't try to do anything I guess"
Khris:
"Ooh okay"
We make it to the store and Cormac started to buy the things he needed, he started to ask me to grab things for him, and I obliged, I can't remember all but he grabbed some canned things, eggs, crisp, some non alcoholic drinks, and some sweets. As we walk out the store I decide to go back home and say my goodbyes to Cormac
Cormac:
" hey, can I get your number?"
Khris:
"Yeah, sure"
We exchanged number and head our separate ways. I make it home and realize that the smell of the wood rot is getting kinda bad, I might have to move out if the smell was this strong my best guess would be that the rot entered my flat. When I wake up I hear knocks on my door, I open it to the inspection company. They check and yes, the rot has entered my flat and I will soon have to move out, as I hear this I remember what kit told me and hope he means it when he said it. I call him and explain the situation, and being kit Connor he of course extends an invite to stay at his house for as long as I need. I pack my things and make the trip to kits house.
