Kazanari Arisu, is a pretty young girl with short silver hair, her hair is brushed to the side covering up her right eye. A yellow hairpin was placed on the left side of her head, revealing her beautiful blue orbs.

It happened to be a pleasant evening in modern-day Japan, and she is peacefully reading a storybook under the tree, but an innocent, childish voice banished any possibility to enjoy a peaceful day.

"That's mean, Kacchan. Can't you see he's crying?"

Arisu looked up beneath her lashes, and saw a young boy with green eyes and black curly hair with green highlights, defending a boy from being bullied.

"If you keep going, I-I-I'll never forgive you!" the boy stuttered, tears glistening at the corner of his eyes.

The three bullies and the leader, who has ash blond, spiky hair, and red eyes, smirk at the young boy and mocked him, "Even though you're Quirkless...you're pretending to be a hero, Deku?" the bullies start showing off their Quirks to the young boy, aka Deku.

As the bullies lunge at him, Arisu suddenly appeared right in front of the boys, easily startling all the people in the vicinity. "O' Lord, hear my prayer. Let your ear be open to my request. And bring the wrath of heaven upon thee. Judgment Storm!" After her small prayer, Arisu creates an elaborate runic pattern in front of the boys before dropping a massive white beam of energy on the ground, creating a large crater.

The blonde-haired boy stares at Arisu with wide eyes, "W-What..."

Arisu's right blue eye flashes in gold while her left blue eye glares at him, "Leave these boys alone." She said coldly.

The boy's friends immediately scampered away, but the blonde-haired boy stayed in place and scowled at her. 'She...She's strong...' he balls his hand into a tight fist as he keeps his eyes trained on her. Arisu stands still, her heterochromatic eyes of gold and blue flickering every so often, wind rustling her silver hair.

For a moment, the boy noticed how gorgeous she is.

Once his thoughts sink into his mind, he turned his head away with a light tint on his cheeks and an angry scowl. Giving the silver-haired girl one last glance, he scoffed and walks away.

When Arisu made sure that the boy is gone, she let out a sigh of relief. Her right eye quickly changes to her original color and she looks back at the green-haired boy with a gentle smile on her feature. "Are you alright? Did they hurt you?" she asked softly.

The boy only stares at her in pure awe, red blush painted his cheeks and he nodded absentmindedly. All he cares about right now is to stare at Arisu's beauty.

"And that was my first and last setback. As I promised myself that I would be the one to protect my love...Arisu-chan."

It all started in China, in Qingqing City. There was news that a baby that gave off light was born. Ever since then, superpowers were discovered in various places, and time passed without the cause being identified. Before we knew it, the supernatural became normal, and dreams become reality.

The world has become a superhuman society, and about 80% of the world's population now has some kind of special trait. In this world swirling with chaos, the profession that everyone once dreamed about and admired came into the limelight.

That profession is...becoming a hero.

Along with the superpowers came an explosive increase in crime. As the country was stuck in the slow progress of drastic law reforms, courageous people started performing heroic acts out of comic books. Guarding against superpowers and defending against evil. Heroes were soon accepted by the public, and it was established as an official position. Based on their performance, they are paid by the government and gain renown among the masses.
