"How did this happen?" Rio asked looking at the dead body. "I got his signal and when I arrived he's already dead". She omitted her encounter with Aryan because if the bureau heard of that she'll be charged for recklessness.
"Have you called the forensics and also the electronics? " she asked then trudged to the side of the bed and tiredly plopped down.
"Yes they are all on their way,including the medics. I've already asked my men to scout the area for any clues". Yasmeen nodded her head in agreement and stood up to Jack Blake's body. She squatted down observing the bullet hole and caught another hole on his thigh.
"I wonder where he kept the drive, he haven't sent it to me as he said". She voiced out to Rio who stood by the door.
"That's another problem inspector,do you think Phantom took it with him".
"We won't know unless we check his office and study. Have your men do that".
"On it!" He brought his walkie-talkie to address them. It was at this moment Yasmeen's team and forensic investigators arrived.
"Inspector Azan!" Asim greeted as he got in. The others greeted too but Nadia was busy fighting a chuckle back as she assessed Yasmeen's pajamas.

Yasmeen sensed Nadia's gaze on her and her eyes automatically traveled down to her pajamas too. 'Ya Allah!,i forget I am still in my pajamas What a morning!'.
The forensic investigators have already set to work,looking for any trace,finger prints,shoes prints and other possible clues. "Asim,Henry interrogate the guards,the maids,every worker in this mansion and also our police officers". She turned to Nadia
"Roman check with the electronics And Nadia check the cctv room for any data and check if Jack Blake's wife has regained consciousness".
"Yes inspector!!" They all answered slipping into mission mode. "After that we shall all report in the office, I need to go right now". "On it!" They chorused and dispersed.
A stretcher was brought in and Jack Blake's body that's inside the body bag was quickly hopped on. He was going to be driven out when Yasmeen stopped them.
"Alpha can I have the gloves and the tweezer please?" She asked one of the forensic members and Alpha quickly gave Yasmeen the gloves.
"Inspector what are you trying to do?". Officer Rio asked when he saw Yasmeen's hands on Jack Blake's thigh . "I hope my analysis is not wrong". She dogged her two fingers with the tweezer into the hole trying to fished out the bullet.
