Kathy: The Witch

Chapter 2 - The world where I can be free

I decided to stay at the human world temporarily. When I got there, I saw a lot of people. They were noisy and I literally can hear their voices even if I'm far away. Someone noticed me and calls me. "Hi! What's your name? I'm Emma." So, this is what human world looks like... "My name is Kathy. It's nice to meet you." We shake each other's hands and then she asked, "Are you new here?" I replied, "Um... yes. I'm new." She looks amazed. I don't know why. "Do you go to this school?" Why do she have to ask so many questions?? I'm not used to these creatures... "Y-Yes, I guess..." She smiled and giggled. "Let's go. We might be late on our first lesson."

8am, our professor came and he asked me to stand up, so I can introduce myself. "Um... How are you all today? My name is Kathy. I hope we can all be friends and get along. Nice to meet you all!" I tried to put a smile on my face even though, it looks awkward because no one even bother to look at me except for Emma. I guess they don't like me at all just because I have a unique kind of eye color. Their eyes looks the same to me... but I'm the only one who has white eyes. "Alright, thank you for introducing yourself, Kathy. You may now sit."

While we are tackling the lesson, I feel so happy because it's my first time going to school like this. In our world, our professor only gave us a big and heavy book to learn some magic spells which I didn't forget to bring it with me. And then, after we learn all the spells, we were asked to practice it and try to defeat professor. If one of us defeat her, that witch will be the top in our class. They say that no one can defeat the top student, but I know that everyone has their own weakness...
3pm, we all went outside the classroom, but the others went to the Library because they will do their homework. The others were just reading a book. Me and Emma went home.

"You know Kathy, you seems weird. You have unique eyes and you don't look normal... You didn't get what the lesson is about as well until I explain it to you." I was nervous. I can't tell her what I'm really is and where I came from. What if she's not trustworthy?
I didn't get a chance to know her better earlier because I'm too afraid to talk to humans... I have no idea what kind of ability they have and they might kill me that easily or get me in trouble. "Huh? Um... I'm from another school and we didn't tackle that kind of lesson before. And maybe I'm just lucky or got blessed by an angel, so that's why I have these kind of eyes. Isn't that amazing?" I forced myself to smile. I'm kinda sweating, so I just cover it with my hair. "Are you sure?" I nodded.
"Oh, okay then. Don't worry, I'm just asking 'cuz I'm curious. There's no need to be scared. I gotta go. My house is just near. I'm just gonna walk by myself. Take care!" She walks away and waved at me.

"I don't have a house... Where should I go?" I whispered to myself worriedly. "What if... I ask Emma to let me stay in her house?" I once again whispered, but a mysterious-looking guy approached me. "Hey, cutie. What's up? You seem lonely. I can fix that. Wanna come with me?" I gulp. " Um... I'm sorry... But I have important things to do." When I was about to go, he grabs my hand. "You sure? Even just a minute?" I quickly pushed him away when he's about to kiss me. "What are you doing?! I said I don't want to!"
I got mad at him, so I accidentally used my powers and it rain immediately at the place where he's standing, but not to the other side. "What the hell?! How is this possible?! Wait... Did you do this?!" I step back because I'm scared of him. "I-I didn't do anything! Just leave me alone!" The rain stopped and he quickly grabs me and tried to undress me, but I step on his face.
"Be thankful because you're a girl! If you're not, I will probably smash off your face!" He smirks and then, laughed. "Don't be scared, sweetheart~ I'll make sure you won't regret this..."
I tried to run, but he keeps blocking the way and grabbing me. "W-What are you going to do??" He licks my neck and grabs my leg. "Wait! Please don't..." I screamed for help and suddenly, someone came. "Hey! Don't you ever try to do that or else you'll be dead!" The creepy guy scoffs. "Try me..." He walk closer to the guy who came to help me. "If you say so..."

He saved me and he knocked him off. After that, I thanked him and he ran away. "I didn't ask what his name is..." I looked down and it began to rain. I smiled and look in front of me.
"It doesn't matter 'cuz maybe if I get lucky, we will probably meet again someday." I walk down the alley and grabs the cardboard. I have no choice, but to sleep here. I lay down and closed my eyes.
