Be Mine- A KNJ Fanfiction

CHAPTER-7

Today is a holiday and I and Lia are going shopping for some clothes and other things.

My mom was a little reluctant of me going for shopping but after sometime I convinced and told the good news to Lia through phone and told her to meet me at the mall.

All day we went to different stores and bought different types of clothes and accessories. We ordered burgers at the food court and began eating them along with coke. We talked about the clothes we bought and many other things.

We bid goodbye to each other and I hailed a cab to home. Reaching home I put all the bags on my bed and started putting the clothes in the cupboard and set my clothes for tomorrow’s college.

I made myself a cup of coffee and went to the salon beside our house and sat on the cash counter. Lia, an employee and the best hairdresser of our salon came to me and asked “I am free for some time. Do you want a haircut?” “Not today, maybe some other time.” I said. Lia smiled at me and left from there.

I found my mom and said that I can take over the cash counter so she should go rest at home. My mom went to home and I sat there welcoming and counting cash given by different customers, occasionally sipping my coffee.

Around evening my mom returned saying that I can go home. I emptied the seat and went home.

I took out my books and started studying. After an hour or so I went down to have dinner. I headed to bed early so as to wake up fresh.

Next morning I woke up early and took my sweet time to get ready. I wore a grey pencil skirt and paired it with a bow top. I took a look in the mirror and did a twirl. I was satisfied with my attire for the day and headed downstairs.

After finishing my breakfast I headed towards my college. I plugged in my headphones and started listening to songs. After 20 minutes I was at the college gates.

I walked to my classroom seeing Lia already waiting for me.

As soon as I sat on my seat professor Namjoon entered the class room and we stood up to greet him.

He told us to sit and I was once again lost in his godly features. I sat down and he started the roll call of students. I was not paying any attention to anything until I felt Lia shaking me out of my thoughts.

Just then I heard Mr. Kim calling out “Park Y/n” In a hurry I answered “Present Namjoon” Shit. What have I done? “Sorry, I mean present sir.”
The whole class laughed at the situation but he continued shooting a glare at me. I hid my face in embarrassment and muttered a slow ‘shit’.

The class went on and I was trying to pay attention to class but failing miserably.

As the bell rang all the students started packing their things and leaving the classroom.

As much as I wanted to stay I and Lia were the last ones to leave. As we were walking out or I would rather say Lia was dragging me out, we heard Namjoon calling out my name “Y/n?” I turned around and looked at him. “This looks like your notebook to me.” he said handing me my notebook. “Thank you Namjoon… I mean sir.” I stuttered. He chuckled and said “It’s okay you can call me Namjoon.” I smiled. “Uh… if you don’t mind can I have your number Y/n?” he said again.

I was far more than delighted at his words. I fumbled with my words but gave my number while stuttering. He cross checked the number before saving it on his phone. He smiled at me and left from there.

I was frozen on my spot. “Lia, is this a dream? Please pinch me to prove that this isn’t a dream.” She pinched me hard and I screamed.

“Hey you didn’t have to pinch me so hard. It’s just a phrase.” I said. “You succeeded girl. Of course he has not taken your number to give you lessons on Molecular Biology.” She said and we laughed while making our way to the cafeteria.

We sat with Jung kook and Lia was shy all the time. I caught Jung kook blushing a few times too.

“Our rest of the day is free. What about you Jung kook?” I asked. “Mine is free too because the teachers have went into some meeting.” He replied.
“So let’s go watch a movie?” I asked and they agreed. We made our way out of the college and went to the theatre. We enjoyed the movie and I bid goodbye to them and walked towards my home.

I reached home and thought about today’s sequence. I was overwhelmed by the fact that Namjoon asked for my number. I hid my face in my pillow and screamed with excitement.
I hear my phone ringing and pick it up with excitement hoping it to be Namjoon but it was Lia.

I pick up the phone after the third ring. “Hello?” I say.

“Hey, Y/n, don’t tell me you already slept.” She replied, very excited. “Yeah…no.” I said bored to annoy her but she was still excited. “Anyway, listen to me.” she said. “After you left Jung kook offered to come to his flat to which I readily agreed. Upon reaching his house I found out that he has a bike. He offered me a ride and we went on a long ride on his bike. He looks so hot on that bike. At a place he stopped the bike and we got off to enjoy the scenery. He took my hands in his, looked deep in my eyes and confessed Y/n. He said he loves me Y/n. I can’t be any happier.” She rambled on. I was so happy for her. “Oh my god Lia, congratulations. I am so happy for you.” I said. “I still can’t believe it all happened Y/n. it feels like a dream.” She said.

After talking for some time we ended the call and I got ready to sleep. I wish myself sweet dreams. Did I say sweet must be Namjoon’s dreams then. Soon I drifted off to the dreamland.
