Jungkook's POV

Aghhh, my back hurts.... I look at my watch, it's 9pm. I've been working since morning.

"Sir, it's already late and everything is almost done, we're ready for the trip"

- my assistant Junsoo said.

"Yeah, I'll go home now. Make sure everything is perfect and ready"

"Yes, sir. I will"

I got up and left my office, then got in my car.
Asshh I'm really tired. Work is thrilling. All because of this stupid deal with that company. I have to get this shit done perfectly.

Time skip to next morning (case I'm lazy and dumb)

Author's POV

Jungkook was getting ready to go to his company.
Suddenly someone called him... He answered-

"Hello?"

Is everything ready? You know, you have to leave for the deal to New York tonight

"Yes dad, everything is ready. Please don't worry, everything will be perfect"

I know son, you got this. You are perfect as always

"Of course dad, I'll never let the pride of the Jeons down. This deal is very important so far, I'll make sure it's all done"

I don't care about the deal son, case I know you know it better than me now. You're a big alpha. Anyway, are you done with all the work?

"Yes dad"

Ohh well, your mother has been worried about your health. I know you'll do the work anyway, but also take care of yourself

"I will, don't worry about me dad"

I have arranged everything there, hotel, bodyguards, maids, cooks and everything but your mom keeps nagging me. How about you take someone with you? To take care of you and be with you there all the time, someone trustworthy, who you already know, you know about life threats, no one is true. How about Jin or anyone you suggest.

"No dad it's totally fine, I'm not a kid."

Why don't you say it to your mom, she is worried about you and keeps saying something will happen to her little son and he'll will get ill and won't take care of himself....I know that's not a lie too, you really don't rest once you're up to something. If you don't take someone, I'll just appoint someone for you

"Aghh fine, I'll think about it. I'll see who I can bring with me"

-his father cut the call.

"Hmm ok I guess"- jungkook mumbled and left for office.

(At his office)

"Sir, everything is ready to welcome you to New York and we're done with everything too"- said Junsoo

"Hmm, good"- mumbled jungkook with a cold look

"Is there anything bothering you sir?"
