Kiran was sitting at a table at the dining hall. She was scribbling with a pencil and some sheets of paper. The young lady didn't notice that a familiar prince was looking over her shoulder. He was curious about what his friend was doing. He smiled, seeing the many little snails that the summoner drew of the sheet, even he didn't know what they were.
Kiran was seriously stuck in her own little world, she didn't notice that by now, there were at least five heads looking over her shoulder. Alfonse, Byleth, Claude, Dimitri and Edelgard were there. The three students just happened to follow their teacher but all four of them were hyptonized by Kiran's majestic snail drawings. Thoughts then took over Kiran's mind, making her drop her pencil then she brought both her hands to her forehead.
She thought about the war; how princess Veronica wanted her head on a silver plate and she almost thought about Alfonse: What if he didn't want her here in the first place?
The heroes looked at each other and shrugged. The students followed Byleth's lead to wherever they were headed to in the first place. Only Alfonse was still there. He pulled a chair next to Kiran and sat there. He sonehow felt that the thought she was having weren't really happy ones, so he reached in for a hug. A hug that the summoner didn't refuse, in fact she gladly accepted it.
Alfonse: "What happened Kiran? I know that something's on your mind. Just tell me about it, I'm all ears."
Kiran: "I'm just scared... We have this war in our hands, the lives of all the heroes I summoned are at stake too... Princess Veronica wants our heads as well, it's stressing."
Alfonse: "I get it."
He pointed at the drawing that the female made.
Alfonse: "What are those? Gooey animals escaping what seem to be shells?"
Kiran let out a genuine laugh, one of those that had a gift at making the young man smile.
Kiran: "Those are snails, they're creatures from my world, children are fascinated by those. They're so slimy! It's at the same time gross and funny, they look so silly! Their looks are so close to the slug's, except that snails carry their house on their back. When they feel endangered, they hide in the shell! Here, let me show you."
That being said, she grabbed her pencil with conviction and scribbled on her sheet. On the lower side of the paper stood proudly a slug, proud to not have to carry the weight of a shell. Kiran smiled at Alfonse, he found it silly how proud she was of those weird little creatures. Nevertheless, he was happy for her to be able to remember all those things from her world and being able to draw them despite being for so long.
What the pair didn't know at the moment was that Sharena was spying on them, thinking to herself: 'KISS KISS KISS KISS'
Alfonse: "Hey Summoner, care to take a walk with me?"
Kiran: "Of course Alfie, let me just put my stuff back into my room."
She put her pencil back into that little bag of hers that she called a 'pencilcase' and hid the paper sheet into her tactic book. The two walked together to Kiran's room. Laughs echoed in the empty dark halls that were only lit by the candles as everyone's doors were closed. Kiran opened her door, not noticing that her snails drawing fell out of her book earlier. She just dropped everything on her desk and left in the company of prince Alfonse. Princess Sharena went full ninja mode by picking up the drawing, and she thought out loud from afar:
'The ship is snailing'
She let out a laugh and went back to spying-brother duty. However, she saw Wrys on the way so it totally ruined her plan. The two shared a conversation for a few minutes then she went back to look for her brother, but she couldn't find him anywhere. She frowned as she would have liked to witness her precious ship snail by itself, she would've felt like a proud mom.

Alfonse was holding Kiran's hands. He looked at her in the eyes and he told her that he was sorry for rushing out the other day, he didn't know what came over him. The female looked at him with a certain look in the eyes, she hugged him and forgave his actions. The prince meant so much to her, she was glad to have cleared this misunderstanding.
In the meantime, Sharena had found them. She hid behind a pillar, focusing on listening to what the two were saying, but when the pair stopped talking, she turned around and witnessed her dream come true:
"The ship has snailed"
A smile illuminated her delicate face as she walked away, feeling proud to have been a witness of her brother's first kiss.
