1 "But Sir?!?"

I had a big smile on my face walking back to the Maryweather mansion. I had just formally met the man who also help save Moonacre with Maria. It wasn't the most formal of places, but at least I had some sort of conversation with him; so I believe it counts in my book. I cannot wait to tell the new maiden servants!

As I entered the huge doors to get into the beautiful white house Sir Benjamin stopped me.

" Ahh Willow. I see you stayed out late yet AGAIN. Didn't I specifically tell you to be back BEFORE Dinner?"

"Answer child?"

"Sir I'm sorry I didn't mean too; I got caught up but Sir Benjamin, come on this is me we are talking about. I always come a bit late and you should know this by now. I did this way before Moonacre was safe."

Sometimes Sir Benjamin is more dramatic then a girl. How does LoveDay put up with it?

"Good thing I told you to be back at the wrong time on purpose. I didn't think it would work but sure enough it did." He smile smugly at me.

"What the heck Sir why did you do that?"

Sir Benjamin is quite a character.

" You do not remember Willow I thought you of all people tonight is the party of LoveDay and I is engagement." He said sarcastically.

" Ahh congratulations Sir.. I mean I didn't know you wanted to announce your engagement, I hadn't thought you to be the type."

"So did I, but LoveDay and her father convinced me."

"That makes so much sense."

Sir Benjamin and I had come to an understanding. You know the kind when you both nod simultaneously.

"Well CHOP!CHOP! Willow guest would soon be arriving. Don't worry Miss Heliotrope has a couple dresses for you to choose from for this occasion. You know her." Then both of us started to laugh. Once I contained myself, I went upstairs to my room.

And let me tell I did not expect the chaos happening in my room. LoveDay is hyperventilating at my pastel lavender vanity. The reason being is that she didn't know if her makeup was to natural or not natural enough and added with that she keeps saying this over and over again "this wasn't a good idea, you haven't seen most of these people in years!"

Maria was by my bed that was full of dresses struggling to get into her dress and all I can see was her petticoat and magenta fabric draped all over her. Miss Heliotrope was on the receiving end pulling that dress till it was on perfectly she dusted her hands off and gave "a very well than" and laced Maria in the back of the dress.

I looked around my room it was a mess: shoes, jewelry, dresses and makeup everywhere. Why did they have to do it in my room of all places.

"Well dear you do have this lovely balcony that lets in so much air and its quite calm in this hall of the mansion." I didn't know that I said that out loud.

"Well don't just stand there pick a dress. Maria is all laced up and is doing her makeup right now. And for me I was ready two days ago so we are practically waiting on you."

I went to the dresses and and looked through them and I finally landed on this beautiful black dress and I grabbed it immediately.(picture of the dress up top) I also grabbed a black lace fan and some big dangly floral shaped white earrings. I put my black hair in a mess half up half down hairdo. My makeup was just thick winged eyeliner and rosy light pink blush that complemented my pale flawless skin and I topped it with a nude lipstick.

I had already zipped up my high heeled black boots and they still haven't finished.

Look whose being waited on now.

It took another hour before they finally finished. We took a good look in the mirror of ourselves a few compliments to each other later we heard the music that was that was our queue . We grabbed each by the arms like a long train and walked out together.
