Chapter 6

Menma woke up stretching every part of his body and rubbing his eyes trying wake up and see in the dark apartment.

He widened his eyes when he realized he wasn't in his little twin sized bed at home, but a large king size in a dark apartment. He replayed the memories from yesterday in his head still trying to process everything. He's so close yet so far from the place he called home. He was grateful he ended up with his younger parents even if they fight too much. He then realized he needed to talk to lady Tsunade because she's the only one that can know and help without messing up the future.

As he was moving to get out of the bed he felt an arm wrap around his waist. He shifted his gaze towards Sasuke, who was cuddled up against him sleeping peacefully.

Menma then remembered how he always clung on to him and Naruto like that in his time. Every time he came home he received a hug from his father like this, every time Sasuke would lay down with him he'd cuddle him like this, and he'd always hold Naruto like this. It made him smile and he felt like snuggling back up under his father.

He slowly unwrapped Sasukes arm from his waist and shifted out of bed. He looked to his right to see his other father sprawled out on the coach making Menma smile even more. He grabbed his shoes and walked out the house carefully trying not to wake his parents.

Naruto stretched and yawned as he felt the morning sun on his face. He smiled a little as the warmth ran through his body. He sat up ,still slouching a little, but still smelling the delicious breakfast food. He opened his eyes more to see Sasuke hovered over the counter eating his food slowly. Naruto's eyes widened realizing that he was not in his apartment.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." Sasuke started at his plate coldly messing with the food a little. Naruto dragged his feet towards the kitchen and saw a plate full of all his favorite breakfast food. He then looked at Sasuke who was still looking at his plate.

"Thanks!" Naruto smiled and rubbed the back of his head. Naruto searched for Sasukes eyes but never found them causing his arm to fall back to his side.

He's closed off again......great.

Naruto started eating his food right as Sasuke finished. He left the room without saying anything, leaving Naruto annoyed. Then it hit him he stopped what he was doing, ran to the bed and flung the blankets back to reveal the empty bed.

"WHERES MENMA!?"

"Relax. He went to Lady Tsunade." Naruto huffed and Turned to face Sasuke who was already staring at him.

"Why the hell is he with granny?!" Naruto was about to run out the door to catch up to him.

"Maybe because he might be able to tell her something, he can't tell us." Sasuke went back to ignoring him, making Naruto frustrated. How can he be so nice one day, then a totally different person the next. Naruto moved to the side of the couch, grabbed his jacket and slipped it on before moving towards the door. Sasuke just watched him as he moved across the apartment. Naruto slipped on his shoes and was about to walk out the door.

"What the hell are you doing. You haven't even finished your food."

" sorry, but I have to go." His body was almost half way out the door before Sasukes hand was wrapped around Naruto's arm. Warmth ran through Naruto's body at the sudden contact.

"Hey! Don't go find Menma. It's good that he's talking to her." Sasuke was glaring at Naruto trying to get him to not walk out the door. Naruto knew very well that he was going to find Menma but now that Sasukes said that, he thinks it's best not go. But he still didn't want to be in the same room as the Sasuke right now because of his attitude.
