"Multiverse?" A voice suddenly heard behind you two making you raise your hand to your chest.

"Oh, Vision. You scared us!" Wanda said, now joining you sitting at the edge of the rooftop.

"Apologies but what got you seem to be interested about the multiverse?" He stated walking towards you and Wanda but unlike you both, he's just standing with his arms crossed.

"I don't know, probably curious if there are hundreds of versions of me and everyone." You shrugged. You wondered if you were happy in those different universe.

Maybe in one of those universe you were contented with your life. Maybe in one, you were hoping to be like your version of you now. Maybe in one, you were feeling extremely worse than in this universe. Maybe in one, you are someone different than you are in this universe.

"If the multiverse is real, I hope I'm happy in one of those possible worlds." You sighed.

You weren't one to believe in theories like this. It needed deep scientific explanations to support this matter and it could be possible but you didn't believe it. You've come so far that the thought of it being true has piqued your interest in looking for proof, but recent events in your life have prevented you from doing so. You're desperate to change the course of your life; you want different outcomes, you want to be happy all the time, and you want to live a peaceful life.

"You're not happy here?" Wanda suddenly asked but you just looked at her and she gave you an apologetic look, she may have read your mind.

You thought about how things would turn out if you were just a normal girl who simps for fictional characters and celebrities, a normal girl who hates school but is academically striving, a normal girl who likes reading books and detach from reality, a normal girl who lives in a small house enough for a small family like you, your dad and mom. You always wondered how life would feel like without having such abilities and live in a normal world where no superheroes live, nothing interferes and no innocent people die. Can't lie, the Avengers' opponents really had a lot of innocent lives involved like Ultron did to Sokovia.

"You know, Y/N. Everything happens for a reason." Vision stated looking at the city's view from afar.

"Even if it hurts me?"

"Yes. Everything happens for a reason. We tend to believe in destiny, fate, karma and divine intervention, and we feel that certain things were meant to be." He smiles. He's no longer in his red robotic figure but as a human now.

"Yeah..." You sighed and just like Vision and Wanda, you stared at the city far away. "So what do you know about the multiverse?" You turned your head towards them both again.

"There isn't exactly enough proof of multiple universes but I do have theories I have been bothering myself with." He stated.

"What is it?"

"Well, my theory suggests that our universe, with all its hundreds of billions of galaxies and almost countless stars, spanning tens of billions of light-years, may not be the only one. Instead, there may be an entirely different universe, distantly separated from ours — and another, and another."

"And yet some people still say aliens aren't real." You sighed. "How are they so sure, anyways? How are they sure there aren't any more living species in an incredibly enormous galaxy and that only us humans inhabits it." You added.

"It might be because they have not seen extraterrestrials like those who attacked New York back in 2012. They have not explored the entirety of the galaxy making them believe that we're still the only ones residing it."

"Bunch of old people only thinks aliens aren't real." They both smiled at you. "So can it really be possible that there is another me living the life I wanted?"

"We can't really be that sure that the multiverse is a set of universe with the same creatures but different aspects. It could just be a bunch more creatures that are super different from us. Like on earth, there are multiple different species and a child with a creative imagination can draw a whole new species just by looking at a certain living thing and not getting the image exactly as it projects. What more different classifications of creatures are there?"

"You mean it's not possible to have another version of yourself?"

"It could be possible, if the universe is kind enough to create another you but with a dissimilar life."

You sighed. The multiverse is exactly shortened from multiple universes and as Vision said, you can't be sure that there is another you. There might be someone who likes the same thing you like, who hates the same thing you hate, and coincidentally having some same features, you're still not the same person.

It gave you a bit of hope to prove that the multiple universes can actually have a universe that is exactly the same as you're in. It's multiple afterall, you can't really be sure as well that there aren't the same person, there are twins on earth and there are some people coincidentally having the same lives running, what more is it out there?

"As long as it is not proven, you still can't be sure about so many things like bastly different parallel worlds, along with vastly different dimensions, and if it all actually exist." Wanda added.

Your mind is going crazy from all the confusing details you had just received. Yes, you were smart but the idea of the multiverse actually is breaking your mind.

"I think I'm gonna let multiverse slide off of me. My mind's tryna commit suicide."

"You'll never really know..." Both of them said making you chuckle.

"Are you sure there's nothing going on between you two?" You raised an eyebrow.

"Oh Y/N, come on, let's just eat ice cream and watch a movie." They tried avoiding your question, probably because there really is something.

"Ooh, like old days!" You squealed and it made the two happy. You were back at your own self again after almost a week.

It was hard for them to please you considering they don't really know how you feel and how you can let them make you feel better. But time to time, they're doing a great job. It made you believe that it's not just things happening for a reason, but things happen and it is a reason for something even better to happen or if it is a consequence of your action, it could be karma.
