The beauty and the beast.
"Oh so you see the scars and the shade on her face , but you don't look there because it will bring shame and disgrace, not to her but yourself.
Your guilt and selfishness is repressed by the "positivity" you try to impose.
You know she'll pull her belt two loops tighter for the hourglass figure you long for.Blaming her shape on herself and not bothering to realize that she has no choice.
You watched her cry those years till you figured it all out...
Her mother pushed her out of the womb that way and there was not a single doubt-
That through all trials and victories in this generation, she would still stand before her mirror to ask god why.You will soon come to realize that you put that in her... and it wasn't very pretty.
Her mother would continue to tell her that beauty was in her and love would come...
But due to your ignorant perception...
The beast and she became one."-J.Obey,17
Don't let society change how you think of yourself... Because if you do it will only grow inside of you.
Don't replace your beauty for a beast.Beast- society's negative portrayal of beauty.
Beauty- the love you have for yourself.
