Ch2- Wamin Restaurant.

(I made the chapter more longer this time.)

Hesitantly stepping inside Wamin restaurant i was immediately surrounded by all the aromas of the fine delicacies of Liyue. I couldn't believe my eyes. Refined portrait pictures could be seen hanging near the walls and chairs. Even inside the Liyue shops everything could still look so dreamy just as it is outside. There stood a Dark indigo haired woman her clothes matched liyues culture perfectly. She seemed to be cooking something so extravagant it's smell lingered across the place. A waiter came and helped us get a table as I looked across to my side I could tell Childe was just as hungry as I was. We both sat down abruptly. Childe sat on the opposite side facing me.

"So y/n what's your thoughts on Liyue?"
He asked me as he was going through a menu to see what to order.

"I must admit it's a pretty good experience so far everything feels like a fever dream" I smiled for the first time in a while.

"Wow y/n that's the first time I've ever seen you smile so brightly ahh you smile even brighter then the sun!" He exclaims putting a hand to his face to pretend to block imaginary Sunrays.

It was obvious he was overexaggerating and it was a bit cheesy. But it made me laugh a bit. It wasn't because it was funny it was because I felt appreciated by this person.

Checking through the menu to ignore any other cheesy comments that he was gonna throw at me I frowned my brows I didn't know what to order at all.

"Y/n are you okay you're frowning quite a bit is this place not to you're liking?" he looked at me seriously for a moment.

"No I'm just unsure of what to order" sighing deeply I was hungry but I've never tried any of these things and I don't wanna waste them even if I don't like it.

Childe called the waiter over and began ordering for the both of us.

"I've got this y/n trust me on this one Excuse me sir were ready to order could me and my comrade please get Lotus flower crisp, Jade parcels, Jueyun chili chicken and some Matsutake meat rolls."

Out of knowhere the beautiful lady with the raven indigo hair appeared.

"Aren't you forgetting something else childe."

"Ah my my if it isn't Xiangling! I've heard you've been travelling to all types of places but I don't think I forget anything else."

"You forgot one of the best meals and that's the Grilled tiger fish!
The amazing meal that's perfectly cooked to the brim as the spices of the dish also compliment the fish.

She looked ever so happy and so passionate about talking about the Liyue cuisine that I built up some courage to speak to her more about the food.

"Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Xiangling, I'm a chef from Liyue! My favorite place is the chicken... I mean, the kitchen! Ugh, I practiced so hard, but I still get nervous when introducing myself..

Giggling a bit I introduced myself to her and tried to ease her nerves a bit with a friendly conversation. Strangely enough while childe was talking to the waiter about the food I was having the time of my life talking to Xiangling.

The waiter quickly left and Xiangling also had to go.

"It was fun meeting you y/n! I hope we can hangout sometime soon here my phone number so we can chat!" I gave mine in return and she ran off after setting the chat up.

"Wow she seems like a very busy person."

I had finally made a new friend here things were going well for me I thought.

"Well she is a world renowned chef so it makes sense."

Childe spoke after a long time. He seemed different.

"Childe are you okay?" I smiled uneasily he was making such a pitiful expression.

He gazed at me once more with puppy dog eyes.

"Do you like Xiangling more then me? How come you gave her you're phone number."

"Huh did you want my phone number as well?"

"Of course I do Im heartbroken you didn't give me you're number first how mean can you get y/n". He turned his head away.

"Jeez why are you acting like a baby here." you handed him you're phone number and he smirked.

"Awe thank you so much y/n you really are such a good person."

I was confused with childe you could never know what he was up to or how he was feeling even though I met him just today.

Just then my thoughts were interrupted as my stomach growled.

"Man the foods taking forever" I frown once more.

"Y/n you have to be patient cmon now."

He was right so I sighed.

"y/n I'm really hungry but not for food."

"what how can you be hungry without food."

"Im hungry for you. You're my type" the way he gave me a lovesick look startled me.

"uh we just met and I don't really know you well sorry."

He burst into laughter.

"Ahh I was kidding don't be so uptight and apologise i just wanted to see you're reaction."

I couldn't tell whether he liked me or not I swear that lovesick face he gave me was real but now I was beginning to doubt myself.

Snapped out of my thoughts the waiter appeared once more.
