Ch5 Blind Date

That day suddenly arrived the day of the blind date. I had put on a casual fit seeing as it was going to be a friendly chat at a cafe. I was determined to get my life back on track and get answers but first i needed to take a break from things. Arriving at the cafe it's serene but lively aura pulling me in. Giving me a reminder of when i used to have a decent family dinner with my own parents nowadays i rarely see them. Everything was magical and just kept bringing back childhood memories from when you visited a similar cafe to this one. The way the food smells, as you could hear the music playing in the background even the way the people greeted you happily you couldn't be more glad to feel this cheerful again. Sitting down silently while waiting for your blind date you decided to pick up a menu. Looking up once more i saw him again.
childe? what are you doing here.
He was dressed in a fancy suit with slicked back hair anyone looking at him would be surprised by how handsome he looks.

"Y/n I think the real question is what are you doing here?"

"If you must know im on a date and im busy rn"

His eyes darkened at you for a slight second he started fidgeting with his fingers trying to mainatin composure.

"heh wow y/n getting a bf already? You've only been here a while and your sleeping around? It's no wonder people keep ignoring you. All you do is-"

Upset for what he was saying you snapped and hit him for what he said. Childe crossed a line.

Shocked by what you just did you just stood there shamelessly as everyone looked at the commotion whispering rumors and you kept getting glared at. Once again people started to ignore you and hate you. No one had even bothered to step in to help you they just stared at you as if you were a mouse in a lions den. You didn't like childes tone at all the moment he said that that's why you hit him.

"childe I didn't mean to hit you but you crossed a line by saying something so rude." you gave him an angry look.

"Sorry y/n I was just kidding also that date of yours isn't coming anyways he's been held up." he chuckled.

"how the hell did you even find out about him."

"For me to know and you to find out y/n" childe sneered with malicious intent and you froze in your tracks.

What was wrong with this man. Everything was going so well you were okay until he randomly started saying cruel things and now people kept staring at you over this all because you couldn't control your emotions you had been having such a hard time and just wanted to have fun for once. Frustrated you just ran out without thinking twice you needed to get away from him something was definitely wrong with childe.
