Ame looked up at me and smiled the best he could in his wolf form. "Thank you... For saying that. Tomorrow I'll go and talk with my mom."
I also smiled and shook my head. "Don't worry about it. Take it as a help from a friend."
He got up and looked at me. "Shall we continue? I can even show you my den."
I nodded and got up as well. Ame then showed me where he lived. It was quite comfortable.
We spent the rest of the day roaming around the mountain. When it was night, we ate and then went to a cliff where we howled, singing our own beautiful song to the moon.
Ame accompanied me to my house. When we arrived, he gently bumped his snout against my head as a farewell. "I'll see you tomorrow at the same place after I visit my mother. Goodnight." He said before turning away and walking into the forest.
I smiled and shifted into my human form, walking towards my home. I opened the door and saw my family in the living room, chatting.
I walked up to them and greeted them, "Hi mom, dad, (B/n)."
They greeted me back and my mother spoke, "So, how was your day with Ame?"
That prompted me to talk about everything we did and what he taught me. My brother seemed a little jealous of Ame, who got to spend a whole day alone with me exploring the mountain. My father looked at me a little suspiciously and my mother just gave me a big grin, which annoyed me a bit.
"Well, you had quite a day. Go rest, you can wake up a bit later tomorrow." She said. I nodded and gave my brother a big smile before walking to my room.
I took off my clothes, took a shower then laid on my bed. I stared at the ceiling for a few minutes, just thinking about what happened today. I finally decided to close my eyes, and fell asleep not long after.

I woke up as I felt sunlight hitting my face. It seemed I had not closed my window's curtains yesterday.
I opened my eyes and realized I was in wolf form. 'Now, when did this happen? Must have done it in my sleep.' I thought.
I sat up and shifted before sliding off the bed and doing my daily morning routine. When I looked outside, I noticed the sun was high on the sky. 'I must have slept until lunch time. I'm surprised mother didn't come wake me up.'
When I was done, I walked to the dining room to have lunch. Today was scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, along with strawberry smoothie. It was quite delicious.
I played with my little brother for a bit then went rest outside. I sat down and inhaled the brisk afternoon air. My body relaxed, and I felt at peace. 'I'm really glad we decided to move here.'
Since it was past lunch time, I figured Ame had already visited his mother and I shifted into wolf form, trotting towards our meeting spot.
I arrived, but there was no one there, so I decided to lay down under a tree, placing my head in my paws and closing my eyes while keeping alert. Moments later, I was half-asleep.
Some time later, I felt someone bump their snout against my head. I immediately opened my eyes and raised my head.
It was Ame. He seemed amused to have caught me napping without me even hearing him.
He shook his head, "I talked with my mother. She really didn't blame me. She was actually very happy I decided to visit her. I also met my sister. Do you want to meet them?"
I smiled and nodded my head, standing up and bumping the side of his face with my snout like he had done to me just minutes ago. "Sure. Let's go."
He also smiled and started leading me to the direction I assumed his old house was.
