Wanda Maximoff and Female Reader (slightly nsfw)
Your relationship with Bucky was incredible.
Until it wasn't.
Caring and handsome, he was everything you had wanted in a significant other and he owned your heart from the moment you set your eyes upon him. He had your trust, your love and 100% of your attention. But why did it never feel like enough? Why did you never feel like enough?
His wandering eyes were very subtle, so subtle that even you- the woman that had been devoted to him for over a year- didn't notice. Everyone else did though: Steve was the first to see his friends boredom (of course), then Sam and Nat, and finally Wanda. She was the only one who had the guts to tell you about Bucky's betrayal though, with the one and only- Sharon Carter.
-----
You and Sharon had always been good friends. You had known each other in school, were lucky enough to get into the same college and shared the identical aspiration of becoming a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Even though Sharon was always the teacher's pet and the most talented student, she was never boastful or arrogant. Instead, she helped you with your essays and made sure you kept up with your physical health.
You ended up becoming a S.H.I.E.L.D. doctor after going to medical school. It wasn't what you had dreamed of as a little girl but you enjoyed it. Just getting to be around such an incredible group of heroes felt surreal.
You adored her. She was kind, positive, helpful- the perfect friend. However, one thing you noticed about Miss Carter early on in your relationship was that she was very jealous by nature (whatever you had, she had to as well).
And it first started with a pair of rollerskates- sure they seemed insignificant now but when you were nine, they were your most important possession. You had gotten them from your mother before she went on a week-long business trip; the skates were pink and white with lime green laces. You were attached to them: constantly skating down the street and even in the house (your father wasn't happy about that). Sharon always wanted to try them, but they were special and they were yours- that was until they went missing.
Unfortunately, your mother revealed they were gifted to her and she never found out where they were bought, so you had no way of getting another pair or your favourite skates. You cried continuously for days and weeks, and of course Sharon was the one to comfort you when you were at your lowest (given you were only nine, if you had only known how low you would get in your adult life).
Miraculous and magical, they turned up one day. On Sharon's feet. She claimed that they were a present from her Aunt Peggy who had just visited. Of course you knew that was false- the last time Peggy was in the area was a year ago at Christmas. Rage coursed through your veins in that moment of treachery, but you kept your cool as you didn't want to lose your closest friend.
A number of years passed and it happened again, this time with your favourite vinyl. You and Sharon both had record players in your bedrooms, but you had been collecting LPs for much longer than she had and your favourite, by far, was 'The Smiths' record that your cousin had bought you for your 16th birthday.
It went missing a few weeks after you had gotten it, and guess where it turned up.
Growing up as an only child with busy parents, you matured fast and therefore learned that forgiving and forgetting was much easier and mentally-benefitting than holding a grudge. So by the time you and Sharon had turned 18, all past mistakes and arguments were irrelevant- you now spent all your free time stressing over college.
