A fairly tall girl made her way to the driver's window, her hair being blown by the wind. She banged her fists on the window furiously. Ace restarts the ignition, "What? You're gonna drive over her too now?" Alisha yelled.

Ace snapped his neck to look back, "What do you want me to do Lisa? I can't really afford a trip to jail right now."

"Bitch, it's Alisha." She corrected him.

"Can we please address the more important situation?!" Theo yelled, Aria and Devon unlocked the door and stepped out, the rest followed them.

They approached the girl. She was trying to get the guy on his feet. Devon spoke up first, "Uh hey, we are really sorry. It was a tense situation-"

"Take us to the hospital." The girl demanded looking up, her honey brown eyes stood out in the sun. "Take us with you and pay for the damage, which won't be more than a fracture since he landed on his right arm but you do it if you don't want me to press charges."

"We will pay you right here." Aria tried retrieving her wallet knowing damn well she doesn't have it with her.

"No. How am I supposed to get him to the hospital?" The girl asked as the guy groaned in pain next to her.

"Okay fuck it, hurry up." Ace grumbled and proceeds to lift off the guy from the ground, the guy almost unconscious gets a close look at Ace's face with half open eyes, "Satan? Is that you?" he squinted further to get a better look.

"Yeah I don't like him already." Ace muttered to himself.

They reached the hospital which was rather empty with only a few doctors left in there.

"So your name is Kara and he", Theo pointed at the guy lying in the hospital bed, "is Tobias. You guys are twins?"

"Yep." Kara replied taking a sip of water.

"But you guys don't look the same? And according to the hospital form you filled you don't even share the same surname?" Theo inquired with a raised eyebrow. He was suspicious of their relation but if one looked close and long enough Tobias and Kara did look similar, they had the same chestnut hair.

"We are fraternal twins, that's not how it works, and we do share the same surname. I go by my middle name Astalis and he doesn't have one so it's just Tobias Marquez. Are you done with your interrogation now?" She didn't need this from a stranger who was in no position to question her.

"I don't buy it, something tells me you're a scam." Theo said with a shrug.

Alisha cleared her throat from the sofa, "This little rendezvous has been a delight, now that her brother is all well I think we should all go our separate ways." She said with fake enthusiasm. "So Ace, my car keys?" She stretched her palm out.

Theo got up and opened the door waiting for his friend to join him. Ace stood still in his spot, unmoving. "No." Theo said immediately reading Ace's thoughts.

"I honestly think a bigger group means a better chance at survival. We will have more resources and more ways to get out of this situation." Ace spoke.

Theo stared at him like he just lost his mind, they had a stare off for the next five minutes with him aggressively shaking his head. Everyone could feel the awkward silence in the room.

"They are strangers! We don't know them. Next thing you know they are going to kidnap and sell us?!" Theo shrieked.

"Oh honey what would I do with half a cent?" Aria said in thick sarcasm.

Devon raised his hand, "I'm with Ace, I think we should all stick together as long as we can. We are all just trying to survive and get out of this place."
