Eliza was dreading the end of the day. It would be here birthday soon and she wasn't looking forward to it. She wasn't anti aging or anything like that after all she was only going to be turning twenty nine but the day itself didn't hold the best memory's or the time around it didn't anyway since most years she didn't have a set birthday having been born on leap year. Maybe that helped her cope some since that day didn't always exist but her 16th year on her birthday was the one that haunted her.

If things that year had gone differently then she may not even be here. Most girls in her position didn't make it out. She got extremely lucky but sadly not lucky enough to be in a well enough mental state to help any others that were going to be taken in the future and she certainly couldn't help those before her. They were gone now. She didn't get to work with the.. She was child then but now she tried her best through her work to help those who were unfortunate enough to fall into the same path she had and be taken by the same monster.

She wasn't sure if it was how her father had prepared her in case of something like this had saved her or if maybe the man who took her had just gotten sloppy with how he restrained her. After all when she was a child she had been smaller and would likely appear weak and unable to fight back. That wasn't the case. Eliza knew she always needed to fight back and that's what she was trying to do now. There had been so many young lives lost to this monster and she wanted to stop it.

She studied the body on her table. There was no real evidence. No DNA even though there was evidence of assault. Each time she confirmed that it made her stomach turn. She managed to get away before anything to traumatic had happened. She used the advice she had been given to leave her attacker repulsed at her and maybe it was that ot maybe just pure luck that she was alone long enough to get away. She couldn't recall his face though. She had been dosed so she contributed that to the foggy memory. All she was able to hold on to was the flowers. Beautiful purple pettles on tiny little blooms. She wasn't sure if they were real or on a painting but it was an image that stuck with her and it especially haunted her around this time.

There were other similar signs that made her think what she had survived was caused by the same monster. The wrists has brusing where the girls were tied up. There was also major scarring on their back like they has been whipped repeatedly. That was one of the things she did not escape. Though her wounds were faded to scars now and not as pronounced as the once on the girls body but they still ached at times from the memory. I wonder why he chose to do all this. Why he still does this. Eliza wondered that quite often but doubted there was even a real answer nothing that could make her understand the need to torture and rape these girls. It was likely just that he enjoyed it for some sick reason and there wasn't more to it then that.

Eliza continued her examination throutoughly taking all the notes she could. She noted the similarities to the three other girls who has been brought in the last couple of weeks. His pace seemed to be changing in which he did hid gruesome acts. His rate for a long time had roughly been a body found one a month at most which is this large city wasn't to much of a red flag. People were always going missing especially younger people which was often from running away from home. Something had changed recently though. Eliza want sure what it was but the pattern of abduction and discovery was changing. It made her worry more. What is causing him to break from the routine? Is something happening to him that makes him want to get more done in a shorter period of time? These were questions she had to figure out if she was to possibly save anyone that may be seen as a target next. There was already a few missing persons reports in the database that fit the target descriptions so for all she knew he could have those girls and they would be the next on her table. Another scary thing about this case was the wide target area. There was no certain place the bodies were left. They were all brought here because of the possible connections to this ongoing case. Eliza had no doubt they were connected. She could feel it.
