Hey, it's been a long time since I've written an one-shot but here's one. And a long one at that. For now it's an one-shot but I'm still thinking about making it a chapter (or more) of a longer book. And maybe I'll even make it a series/trilogy. But until I have time to make that happen enjoy this piece as a short story/one-shot. :)
It's a fanfic story about a blind girl in Hogwarts who's in love with Draco.

Love Is Blind
I walked out of the room after the other students of my year. Mrs. McGonagall insisted on my being there even though I couldn't see what she was showing us. I heard the music and her counting but all I saw was darkness. Someone silently guided me through the whole dance. I didn't know where to place my feet yet we didn't bump into one another even once. The chemistry between us make us move in perfect synchronisation. At the end of the hour he gave me back my walking stick and took off. I couldn't even compliment him on his dancing or thank him fo
About four yards from the door I noticed someone walking right at me, very closely. I knew there was a door somewhere. I reached for the wall on my right but my hand touched something softer than a wall.
The fabric felt familair and the scent made me realise it was the person from before. The person lifted me off my feet by my waist and walked us to the nearest classroom. When he put me down I sat on something softer than the normal wooden chairs. I leaned back a little and noticed I was sitting on his lap. I immediately jumped back on my feet. "O relax scaredy cat."
"Draco?" I started blushing. His chuckle was dark yet warm. "Did I make Melody ... blush?" I instantly straightened my back. "I don't know, I can't see it. Can you feel it?"
He stood up and placed his hand on my cheek. "You're wrong about one thing about me dear Melody. I am capable of feeling." I smirked at him while his silent laugh fanned my face. "Is that so? Are you afraid now then?"
"No, never. Why would I be?" I took a deep breath before stating the obvious facts for him. "Considering your back is facing the door, you're leaning over me with your lips close to my face and one of your hands is on my cheek I would say: for an outsider we seem to be in a very promising position. What if anyone sees us?"
Draco laughed again. "You're very attentive but there's one thing that you forgot about. This is the music room, there is a muffliato charm on this room and the window in the door is covered with a red curtain. No one will come look for us here."
I lifted my heels of the ground to get a little closer to him. "Why exactly are we here anyway?" I whispered. He tried to give me an answer but all he stuttered was: "I..."
"Hmm, who is the scaredy cat now?" I mused while he almost walked away. He grabbed my arm and held it tight, a little too tight for my liking. "I'm not scared about anyone seeing us." He told me through gritted teeth.
I pulled my arm from his grip but he held it even tighter. I told him to let me go. His hand slid down my arm to my hand and he entwined our fingers gently. "I wondered ifyouwouldgotothedancewithme?" The last part of the sentence came out as one single word. "What did you say?"
