“K-Kuya..” Latina uttered.

Naka tutok ra sa akoa si Lucas. He's not minding his sister's voice.

“I think we have something to talk about in here.” seryoso niya nga sulti.

“Kuya, I can explain it. Just let him leave.” tingog nasad ni Latina.

Lucas is not even giving her glances. Seryoso ra kaayong nawng ni Lucas nga ga tan aw sa akoa.

“Luca, go to your room.” Lucas commanded.

“But-

“I said go to your room. I have something important to talk with Mr. Calderon.”

Shit! He called me Mr. Calderon. Makulbaan na ba ko ani? Yowo!

Latina sigh in defeat, “Fine. Just don't do anything harmful.” sulti niya ug nibiya na sa sala.

Kami nalang duha ni Lucas naa diris sala. Eyes are fixated to each other. Murag kulang nalang mag sumbagay mi.

“I told you to just check her right?” he started.

Bother kaayo ko sukad ganiha human namog storya ni Lucas.

My phone suddenly beep.

From: Lucas

Ika pila nako gi balik balik ug basa iyang message. Ga duha duha kog reply kay basin si Lucas ang maka basa.

But I chose not to reply nalang. I remember what Lucas told me,

‘Please stay away from her.’

And I think paminawn nalang nako iyang gi ingon. He's just a concern brother. And I knew to my self, I have no time for commitment.

I will just end up hurting Latina.

Should I really have to stay away from her? Kung kanus-a okay nami?

Fck! This is kinda hard.

And the kiss. Does it mean something to her?

“Why would I care? Diba layuan na nako sya?” pangutana nakos akong sarili.

Nag alas dose nalang sa gabie wa gihapon ko naka tulog.

The thought of staying away from Latina feels so hard to do.

I felt something strange will happen if I'm not beside her.

It feels like I have to stay by her side, always.
