On the same day after my maniac ex-boss got convicted, we had a lunch with Nikko and his dad. I thought he's mom wouldn't be around but I thought wrong.

“Hi, sorry for I can't attend earlier” Nikko's mom apologize.

Nilingkod sya sa middle seat between Nikko and his dad. While kami nila papa kay naa sa other seats. I'm infront of Nikko.

Nag order nami then nangaon. A silent conversation by my dad and Nikko's dad caught our attention.

“We're actually planning a marriage for my daughter but as what happened to her I think it's better if she'd choose her own partner.” sulti ni papa in a calm voice.

Tito Antonio nod, “Of course man, she's not a kid anymore. But it would be more interesting if she'd choose my son.”

Nikko abruptly cough, “Dad” sita niya sa iyang papa. His dad just shrug.

Naghilom hilom nalang ko kay wa koy ika ambag, basin gani mo agree pako nila papa.

They continued their topic while chill rako nga gapaminaw. Nikko look tensed.

Nalingaw ko nag tan aw niya but I couldn't show it kay basin mapikon sya. I can't tease him like before.

After lunch, nagka ayaan na sila nga manguli. It's because my dad is a busy person and Nikko's dad too.

“Tara na bro” sulti ni Kuya. Nag dala man diay syag iyang sakyanan.

“Bye dad, sabay nako kay Lucas kay naa pami practice. Bye mom.” he kissed his parents cheeks. I am in shock coz we're in public.

Wow. I thought si Kuya ra ang ing ana. Nikko is not even bother after kissing his parents cheeks.

Good God he look attractive even more.

“Una nami ma, pa” sulti sad ni Kuya and kissed our parents. He walk near me to give me a forehead kiss.

“Can I kiss you too?” he ask in serious tone.

Kuya pull Nikko, “Bro you're not even dating”

Our parents laugh. Walay nahimo si Nikko ug nagpatianod nalang sya sa bira ni Kuya sa iyaha.

“Let's go?” ana si papa.

Wala na namo nakita sila kuya and we're about to go but a voice interrupt us.

“Latina!” Akoa syang gi lingi and I wasn't wrong. It's Nikko Calderon running towards my direction.

“It's our daughter's decision gang. But we support you anyway” tubag ni Papa.

Nikko averted his eyes to mine, “So, can I court you?”
