the little lovely greenly freshy place
alive is everything you seek to touch
from the singing bird hovering waters
the stretched field of meadow green
a small house of thatched roof of course
come live with me in my little cottage
at the fire place of rocky clay
feel the warmth all around your soul
you at home in my little cottage
cheers to the country sky
smiles from the sun and moon all around
to watch the rest of the world go by with haste
fitting it is for a stressed mind to rest
yes! you did love to live in my little cottage
you would be excited, i did be proud.
