Midst I Stood

24 2 1

In the midst stood the happy tree

Around midnight candle glow

Happiness gathered in a bloom

The ups and downs we shared aboard

Here we stayed till the night's ends

When the moon departed us

Sleep comes with a kindly knock

Here we layer in conscious strand

Nothing to fear of the doom

For tomorrow finds her way home

Sleep and rest for all ends well.
