Unexpected Visit

Lola woke up the next morning not knowing what was going to happen that day. She got up as normal and got dressed, did her hair and face and then went downstairs to get breakfast. As she was walking down the stairs her mum said, " Darling, do you want me to drive you to school today?" Lola was a little bit like what, why does she say today out of all days... She was suspicious but then said, " Sure mum, what time are we going to leave?" Her mum then came up to her and said, " Well it's 8:00am now and school starts 8:45, we can leave at 8:45, it's doesn't matter, I'll say you were late because of me!" Lola was confused but she thought of a few reasons why her mum said that. But she didn't care, knew that her mum cared about her and was trying to be nice. So she had breakfast, packed her bag and then yelled out, " Mum I'm ready to go! " Then her mum walked down the stairs and grabbed everything, but very slowly, but Lola didn't care because she thought that her mum was just being a nice mum and didn't won't her to suffer in form assembly and just pretend like she was late for a proper reason. But that wasn't the case, not at all.

When they had got into the car, Lola put her bag down below her and buckled her seatbelt. Lola's mum took her time and put the heater on, and put the radio on, but very quietly, started the car and put her seatbelt on and then slowly backed out. The drive was quiet and peaceful, it made Lola have a think about how to can try and make her life a little better without thinking about her brothers death.

Lola had closed her eyes during the whole ride, Lola was thinking why was it taking so long to get to school, did her mum forget where the school was, was she riding in circles... She was just confused. She opened her eyes and her mum had stopped somewhere that she didn't know... Her mum then said, come on Lola time to get out of the car. Lola slowly unbuckled her seatbelt and slowly opened the car door. She was in a underground parking area, that was dark and gloomy but her mum and Lola were walking towards the brightness of the sun and outside world again. She was wondering where her mum was taking her, she was scared and her anxiety was starting to get worse, she was breathing heavily, she was starting to sweat, she felt like she was going to faint. She was walking slowly behind her mum and wanted to catch up, she starting running up towards her mum. Her legs felt like they were going to give out underneath her... She got to her mum and grabbed hold of her hand to make sure if she was about to fall, her mum would know and be able to catch her. The light of the outside was getting closer she wanted to know where she was.
She was worried to see where she was and what her mum was doing, Lola knew that her mum wouldn't take her anywhere bad or scary, she felt more calm and just thought about good things. One of the good things is that she didn't need to go to school at all..... Maybe but anyways that was still a good thing.
Lola could see the light her mum was walking right by her side holding her hand tightly, and just as they were about to walk outside the parking lot, her mum stopped and turned to Lola and said this, " I hope you don't hate me for this Lola, but I brought you her for you own good, so please trust me, this will help you, so sorry if you don't like it, I wanted to help because you are going through a really hard time and I thought this might help.. So I'm sorry Lola"
Lola was confused and was now a little scared to what place they were at.... And then she saw, as they walked from out of the parking lot she saw the sign. She walked in silence, she was scared but a little happy at the same time.... She definitely knew her mum loved her and that's why she brought her here...
