Today I was walking outside of my school, Higgs an all girl school, I recently came out as non-binary and my best friends, Charlie, Nick, Isaac, Tao, Tara, Darcy and Elle were all super supportive.

When Tara, Elle, Darcy and I met up with Charlie, Nick, Isaacs and Tao outside their school we were all about to leave when Harry runs over yelling my dead name, "OI Y/D/N"(your dead name, or you can just make up a gender neutral name)

"It's y/n and what do you want", I say obviously mad.

"So heard you were a Dyke, that's so weird, shes like you Charlie, but worse" Harry rudely says.

I look down at the ground not knowing what to say, until I hear Elle say," Piss off Harry, nobody wants you here" ,"Or what? Do you like her or something", Harry rudely comments.

"Its them and just leave", Charlie says.
"Fine", Harry says leaving.

I start walking without the group, when I hear Elle call out my name, I turn around and everyone is there following closely behind Elle.

"I wanna go home, I don't feel like going out today", I say sadly, " Well I'll stay with you", Elle says, grabbing my hand and running off towards her house.

Elles POV
Today's the day I tell them that I like them, I run off towards my house and when we reach the door, I run up the stairs dragging them with me.

I close my bedroom door and Y/n is sitting on my bed.

I sit beside them on my bed and hug them as I feel bad and they hug back.

I hear faint sobs, it broke my heart, I pulled away and cupped their cheeks ,"Y/n, I need to tell you something", "Oh what is it", they ask.

"I like you", I say nervously, they are sitting there in shock....
They finally says something, "I like you too".

My smile was so big, I kissed them forehead and she hugged me again as I hugged her back,"Sleepover?" I ask them ,"Yes please", they respond back.
