Two piercing red dots glared into your eyes, your pupils, your very soul. Your body was unmoving as the older Bonnie stood to his full height, a good ways taller than you and looking intimidating as hell. His one hand was once clutched into a fist, but slowly unfolded to let four claw-like fingers hang down. You squeaked quietly to yourself. Old Bonnie stepped towards you, but you were too petrified to move. He leaned closer.
"What are you doing here?" His glitched voice scraped out.
You didn't understand him at first. "Huh?"
Bonnie sighed and a rasp screech emitted from his voice box. "What are you doing here?" He spoke, a lot more clear than before you might add.
"Um...I'm working here. For the n-night shift. The Toys wanted to meet me by the stage. To help." You answered, backing away as Bonnie followed.
"Oh, really? What makes you think they can help? If they even want to, that is." He said, a significant teasing in his voice. Your voice stopped working, questioning the animatronics' motives for a second. But you shook if off.
"Because if they didn't want to help me, why wouldn't they have killed me by now? And they HAVE helped me. They've helped me a lot until now." Right. On the second night you've known them. Bonnie's condition was terrifying enough, but arguing back at him? You were surprised your voice hadn't broken that much, or that your brain hadn't processed the danger you were currently in.
The signals did, however, seem to come into mind when your back met with the wall's surface. You glanced behind you and met back with Bonnie's glare with fearful eyes.
He was so fixated on you-your face, your eyes, your emotion. Everything at once.
"Bonnie," a low voice commanded from across the hall. The rabbit turned slowly, dangerously, towards the broken bear.
"What." Bonnie spat.
"Y/N is only trying to help," Old Freddy said straightly. "She isn't a threat to us, so let her go."
Bonnie continued to glare for a good, long moment or two. Finally, he stepped away from you. You exhaled a sigh of relief and walked away from Bonnie, not daring to keep an eye off of him. At least, not until you were a safe space away. He did reach his foot over to trip you and you fell flat on your face. Bonnie hacked up a short laugh behind you as you found your footing. You backed away from the purple rabbit with a more agitated expression. He seemed more intrigued with your response this time.
"So, she wants to help?" Bonnie asked.
"Whatever keeps us on good terms," you shot out before Freddy could answer. Bonnie kept a skeptical eye on you. "And if that means repairing you guys myself, then so be it."
"You will?!!" Foxy exclaimed. You looked to your left past Withered Freddy and saw Foxy practically glowing with hope from his ears to his tail.
"Not me, though. I like the way I am." Bonnie scoffed.
"Aye, but I thought ye were complaining 'bout yer arm. Ain't it difficult with only one?" Foxy asked.
Bonnie sighed. "Well, apparently this whole look scares the crap out of workers. So yeah, I can deal with one arm. Especially when she's the one doing the handiwork. Are you even qualified to be a mechanic?" He turned back in your direction.
You smirked and put a hand on your hip. "Oh, you can bet your little bunny tail I'll be doing some handiwork."
"Whoo!" A new voice exclaimed. Behind Foxy from the same corridor followed Toy Chica, who was giving you an encouraging, and almost devilish, smile. After Chica came Toy Freddy and old Chica. You were even more unnerved with old Chica in person than on the cameras. Screw being scared by Withered Bonnie, Withered Chica's face was terrifying. "Well, this seems intense! What's up?" Toy Chica asked.
You felt Bonnie give you a stink eye from the side of you and you shot one right back. "Nothing, Chica," you replied. "I'm just meeting the older Bonnie." Bonnie let out a glitched huff next to you.
"No duh," Chica sighed. "I meant 'what's so intense' as in I can sense drama, and whenever I do, I'm almost always correct." She practically bragged, placing herself right between you and Withered Bonnie.
"How lovely," Toy Freddy interjected. "So are we all cool now? Unless older Bonnie's gonna rip off Y/N's head. Which is honestly kind of okay with me now."
"Freddy!" Toy Chica scolded.
"What? She's not that interesting," Freddy spoke passively. Your jaw dropped and you glared at him. "Where's new Bonnie, so we can call this off and go back to the show stage?"
"Right over here-HOLY NUGGETS-!!" Toy Bonnie rounded the corner galloping towards you but as soon as he saw old Bonnie he jumped up in surprise. "Sorry, Bonnie, you scared me.." Bonnie says nervously while tugging on your uniform. You comply and let Bonnie pull you closer to him and away from the older Bonnie model. Bonnie had come from behind you while Toy Chica's group was approaching from in front.
"Is ShE THeRe?" Another new voice called from behind Toy Bonnie.
"Yeah!" He called. "And, Y/N, I don't think you've met the whole crew just yet." From the corner came a fox animatronic....what looked like a fox animatronic. Heck, you could only tell since its head looked somewhat similar to Foxy's. It was a mangled mess of endoskeleton parts with three legs and an extra arm dangling somewhere. Heck, there was an entirely new head stuck to the amalgamation. The only "normal" parts were the head on top and the white feet and hands. The fox head itself was white with the same rosy cheeks as the Toys AND a pink snout and highlights.
"This is Toy Foxy," Toy Bonnie explained. "Or as the workers call them, Mangle."
"I've grOwN to LIkE iT," Mangle interrupts. Their voice is a mixture of a female's voice and a staticky lower male's voice in the background. You wondered if it was the extra head that added in those voice affects. The endo head did move, though it's mouth wasn't moving.
Toy Bonnie nodded. "Yeah..they were used as a 'take apart and put back together' attraction in Kid's Cove. You know, for toddlers and stuff. These people forget that toddlers can be so chaotic with their toys." Bonnie shakes his head with you. You couldn't help but feel pitiful of this animatronic. You were going to be as friendly as possible...at least more friendly to her than the other animatronics. And was it a "her"? Hmm. It was hard to tell when you took the voice and the name "Toy Foxy". Since Foxy is always a male character. But Bonnie referred to the fox as "they/them". You'd stick with that; the two animatronic heads made it more logical to call Mangle by those pronouns.
Mangle stepped closer with unexpectedly well coordination to introduce themselves a bit more. So far, they seemed to have a strong personality. You never thought you'd say that about an animatronic, but it's been an interesting couple of days. Of course, one part of you wanted to scream and run and never come back to this place. Just forget everything. But another part, the part that was in control at the moment, was intrigued and wanted to learn everything about these characters. If they seemed to have personalities of their own, you wanted to get to know them.
"So, Y/N, I guess we're all okay, then! Right?" Toy Bonnie sent an ominous glare towards Withered Bonnie and Toy Freddy, who were standing beside each other. Freddy shared that same glare with Bonnie, who nodded stiffly. Freddy nodded with a soft look from his eyes. "See? We can be safe to be around!"
You still weren't so sure about that.
"Well, then, I guess I'll come back tomorrow. I still need the pay."
Who knew what the old Bonnie would've done to you if you had been alone.
"Great!" Toy Bonnie wished you goodbye before you waved closing the front door behind you. He was the only one out in the light watching you leave, while everyone was already gone or starting to leave. You had to admit, it was creepy and cute at the same time how attached Toy Bonnie seemed.
You sighed and pulled out your car keys. You heard a beep from your car and slid yourself inside. Locking the door quickly afterwards.
Safe.
Maybe Bonnie really did mean it, he had kept you safe the past couple nights after all. Tomorrow was your fourth night there. Then you had your fifth, and you could get out of this hellish yet very controversial and confusing job.

He had to admit, he did take quite a liking to you. Toy Bonnie admired you as you quickly left the building. A smile couldn't help but form across his face.
"What are you doing?" A dangerously close, and familiar, voice said from behind. Toy Bonnie slowly tuned around. Just as he had feared, Withered Bonnie was standing in the shadows, directly behind him. No doubt he saw him gawking at the night guard.
"J-Just saying goodbye..." Toy Bonnie said. Just keep it casual, he had told himself.
"No, I mean, what are you doing trying to be all angelic and caring for the night guard?" Withered Bonnie stepped out of the shadows, taking away some of the contrast on his eyes' white glow.
"Wha....what do you mean??" Toy Bonnie stepped back. Casual, casual, CASUAL!!
"I'm not stupid," old Bonnie put his hand on a party table to Toy Bonnie's side, forcing him back another couple of steps. "Clearly you have a...thing...for that night guard. I've never seen you engage with anyone so much before." The old rabbit had a hint of amusement in his tone.
"I'm just...trying to be friendly..." Toy Bonnie looked down as if he were ashamed. Like he was being scolded by a parent.
"No, no, no. I've seen you being 'friendly', and that was not it." Withered Bonnie said. Toy Bonnie noticed Withered Bonnie's eyes had flickered red for a second. The older rabbit seemed to notice. He flinched and turned his lights off completely before resetting them to white.
Toy Bonnie smirked, just for a second, then quickly wiped it off. He didn't need another incident with his older counterpart.
"Well, what was the point of this whole confrontation, then? Are you gonna tell me that this whole thing is dumb? Are you gonna threaten me? Threaten Y/N? Are you gonna tell me to stay away from her?" The rampage of questions caused Toy Bonnie to assume a more confident stature. "That I should stay away from her so you can have her to yourself—"
That had done it. Withered Bonnie's hand flew up to Toy Bonnie's neck before he could react. He walked them back so he could hold Toy Bonnie up against the wall.
He was silent for a few moments before speaking. "What makes you say that?" He asked. It was barely audible, maybe a bit glitchy.
"N-Nothing...!! Nothing...you totally seemed to hate Y/N!" Toy Bonnie yammered on. "I d-don't know why I said that..! Maybe...just popped out from arguing with Toy Chica..yeah...yeah, yeah..!! I'm spending way too much time talking with that bird!"
Withered Bonnie's eyes deadpanned in an uninterested manner. He put Toy Bonnie down on the ground.
"I'm warning you. Remember what happened with the last guard?" Old Bonnie said. The new Bonnie's face softened and his ears dropped. "Yeah. Yeah, exactly. So try to be a little more...cautious about where you dump all your sappy feelings. I don't know how long they'll be staying, but I'll be seeing just what kind of person Y/N is...."
With that, Withered Bonnie stormed off, leaving Toy Bonnie unattended in the lobby. Worry began to press over the blue animatronic.
