Gradient was in the toilet trying to process the information he had gotten, the fact that his family may have to run away again and that there's nothing they can do about it frustrated him. He knew that his friends would probably worry about him not being there for the first few rounds but he doesn't care... Right now he just wants to calm down and pretend that none of this had happened, without him knowing he has fallen asleep as the crowd cheer on for the next round.
