Uraraka: What's happening?

School is over and the bell had rung but it seems like these guys won't allow us to go

Bakugou: They're inspecting the enemy you scum... Now move

Iida: BAKUGOU, STOP BEING RUDE TO PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW!

???: I came to see the famous class 1A but it seems like they're arrogant, are all hero courses like this?

Gradient: Um, I'm sorry for him, he's always like that, and will you kindly please move out of the way? We would like to go back home and get ready for the upcoming event plus I'm sure you guys also want to train to win the Sports Festival so will you please kindly move out of the way?

???: As much as I could, the answer is no. I mean we Gen-Ed really want to know our opponent well. After all, we don't want to give away the chance of being able to go to the hero course, if a person really does get into the hero course, one of you could fall into our place so don't get too cocky. We Gen-Ed are declaring war on hero course

Gradient: If that so then I would say good luck for both of us, we will do our best too... See you at the Sport Festival

Just like that I left leaving my class and the crowd to talk further as I made my way to the principal office. Principle Nezu had called me beforehand telling me to meet him after school in his office, as I walk through the corridors I met uncle Cross in front of the office leaning against the wall while talking quietly to X who noticed me and wave at me, I wave back as I quickly made my way there

Cross: Oh you're here what took you so long, isn't class already over in like 20 minutes ago?

Gradient: There's a huge crowd in front of my class so I got stuck there for a while

Cross: ... Alright then let's get inside first Error and Nightmare is waiting

Uncle Cross opens the door letting us in to see Principle Nezu sitting on his desk drinking tea while Mom and Uncle Nightmare join him having a conversation

Nezu: Ah welcome to my office Cross and  Mitsu, or should I call you Gradient?

Me and Uncle Cross quickly bow a little

Gradient: Thanks for having me in your office and you may call me Gradient

Uncle Nightmare, despite being in his passive form, sipping his tea menacingly at Uncle Cross signaling him to behave while Mom looks at Nightmare giving him a stern look before giving us a soft look calming us down.

Nezu: Anyway Mr. Error, I heard you got some news for us to hear?

Error: Of course, I'm not exactly sure when will it happen but it will happen after around the sports festival, 3 of your students will get injured badly because of it.

Cross: Do you have any suspect on who's gonna get involved

Error: With the Hero Killer becoming active these days I have a feeling that the students who have a pro hero as a relative might get involved. Nightmare anyone you know with that?

Nightmare: ... There's Shoto Todoroki and Tenya Iida but I don't know them personally to make a conclusion... Gradient have an idea?

Gradient: For some reason, Todoroki never uses his fire and with how Endeavor acts in public I have a suspicion that he might get abused so I don't think he is that student. Iida on the other hand really loves his brother and respects him a lot from how he said it in one of our conversations so...

Nezu: Hmm, I'll be keeping an eye on Iida the... Can you tell Mr. Aizawa the same Mr. Nightmare?

Nightmare: Of course and I'll tell Blue aswell

Cross: Um sir not to be rude and all but, why did you call me and Gradient?

Nightmare: Cross I'll be needing you to keep an eye on Iida during their internship with Gradient, that way you can protect the kids legally if the Hero Killer really is involved.

Error: I know you're strong enough to handle him but I'll be putting Gradient with you to help you with the students involved. I trust you to keep an eye on Gradient, I don't trust him with any hero.

Me, Nightmare, and Cross sweatdrop at that (Mom can be really protective sometimes) while Nezu just smiles.

Nezu: Well it's settled! Thank you for coming today, everyone.

Time quickly passed by, results of everyone's hard work are going to show in this very Sports Festival. Right now Class 1-A are in the waiting room getting ready for the competition

Mina: Hey Kōbai what are you doing?

I quickly got startled and fell from my position

Mina: Are you okay!?

Gradient: Uh yeah I'm okay and to answer your question, I'm meditating to keep myself calm

Iida: EVERYONE ARE YOU READY!? It's almost time

Breath in... Breath out... Okay, I'm ready now!

Todoroki: Midoriya

Izuku: Todoroki what is it?

Todoroki: Looking at it objectively, I think I'm more capable than you

The room fell silent and before I could interfere Izuku just noded

Todoroki: ... But you're being favored by All Might, I won't inquire about that... But I'll beat you

Kaminari: Woah the best in class is declaring war

Before anything else happened I quickly pull Izuku away from him

Kirishima: Yo that's not manly starting a fight all of the sudden. Stop it

Todoroki: We're here not to play friends so does it matter

I glare at Todoroki a bit before trying to calm Izuku a bit

Gradient: Just ignore him, I know you can do it.

Izuku suddenly stop and turn to see him

Izuku: I don't know the reason for your declaration to beat me but yes, you are far above me... As far as your abilities, you are far more above than most people... But everyone is aiming for the top, I can't fall behind. I'm going to aim for it!

Present Mic: CAN I GET A HEY!!!!

The crowd go wild knowing the festival is about to begin

Present Mic: GET READY PEOPLE IT'S THE HIGH SCHOOL FIGHTING GROUND THAT YOU ALL LOVE. EVERYONE, UA SPORTS FESTIVAL IS ABOUT TO START! ARE YOU READY!

The crowd go wilder and wilder every passing second inpatient for the festival of start
