After beating Gold Eye, E/C-Eye went back into the school, heading to her class. Why did Ashtem send Gold Eye to battle me? she thought as she entered the room, making many heads turn to her.
"Ah, miss E/C-Eye, how nice of you to join us," the teacher stated, obviously annoyed at the girl's lateness. She was about to come up with an excuse when Gold Eye stepped into the room next to her.
"She was showing me around the school," he stated. "I'm the new student, Gold Eye."
The teacher sighed. "Alright, then. Please take a seat." Much quieter, he mumbled under his breath, "Kids these days and their fashion trends."
E/C-Eye glared at Gold Eye, mouthing something to him that nobody could read, and Shu narrowed his eyes. Did E/C-Eye know that new student?
He decided to drop the subject and continued reading the assigned pages in his textbook.

E/C-Eye sighed in relief as the school dismissed everybody. She made her way over to the beach, sitting down on the shore and letting the low tide hit her shoes.
Taking a breath of fresh ocean air, E/C-Eye removed her mask and slipped it into her backpack. She set her backpack and shoes on the beach far away from the sea and lay down in the water.
The cool blue waves lapped at her face as she thought about everything that happened that day.
After a few hours, E/C-Eye stood up and approached her backpack slowly, slinging it over her shoulder and slipping on her shoes. She was about to reach into the bag to grab her mask when she heard somebody call out...
"Y/N! You're alive?"
