"Ordinary" Enemies

Chapter 13

"Why would she do that?"

"I don't know..." she spoke.

There was an uneasy silence and Ron licked his lips.

"Do you think she likes you again?"

"Maybe."

Pansy walked up to Hermione and mumbled "Can I talk to you?"

"No, she can't," Ron murmured. "You can't force someone to like you. Especially since you used to be together."

"It's okay Ron, I'll go," she whispered.

Ron groaned, "Alright, go on then."

Hermione got up and followed Pansy out of the great hall. She was then pushed against a wall, with horror in her eyes. "Why did you try pulling away, huh? Am I not good enough for you anymore?" She sighed and spoke, "I'm with Ron now. And I love him. Just because you're gaining feelings for me again, doesn't mean I am too."

She pushed Pansy off of her. "You know, I did love you once. Maybe if you took one second to think that I was more important than your reputation, we wouldn't be here," she said while storming off.

Draco was walking Harry to the Gryffindor common rooms. Dean and Seamus are behind them. They went through the portrait hole first, leaving Harry and Draco behind. They smiled at each other, "ill see you later then?" he smirked. "Yep. C-can I hug you?" Harry grinned. "Of course, you can." making him laugh.

They filled the gap between them, gripping each other's clothes. Harry looked up and kissed Draco on his cheek. "Does this mean we're dating?" Malfoy scoffed, "Was it not obvious all the times we kissed?" Harry laughed. "On that note, I think I know what I am." Harry grew a grin on his face.

"Really?"

"Yeah. I think I'm gay."

"I'm happy for you. It's funny to think how I used to wish you were gay." he chuckled. Malfoy smiled and lightly kissed his lips again. And leaving for the Slytherin common rooms.

"I never would've guessed for him to be gay." laughed Dean.

"Good for him," Seamus said with a smile.

"Yeah." Harry grinned not showing his teeth.

"He's lucky to have you mate." they both exclaimed. Harry nodded his head and stepped inside. Not long after, a very heated-looking Ron and Hermione entered.

"What's up with you guys?" Deans completion confused. "Pansy kissed Hermione," Ron replied.

"The one she used to date?"

"Yep."

Hermione went to sit next to Harry on one of the couches. "Damn, sorry that happened 'Mione," Seamus spoke looking concerned. "It's fine, guys. I just need some time alone."

They all got up and left. Harry put his hand on Hermione's shoulder, then said good night. The same as everyone else.

The next morning, everyone seemed normal. And classes went surprisingly smoothly. They all got passing grades on their exams. Classes after that were way more entertaining since the school year was coming to an end.

Harry got the chance to talk with a girl named, Lavender for the first time. She was supposed "friends" with Parvati.

And to make matters better, the Gryffindor team also won the Quidditch cup. To celebrate, they were allowed to stay up later than usual. Draco stayed and celebrated with them. They all promised to write to each other and keep in contact.
