Chapter 2: Me and My Shadow

I'm not possessed I just have . . . I guess the best way to put it would be possession residue and I drive down the road as I turn the music on. The song Boulevard of broken dreams from green day starts to play. 

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes

Just as the song ends, I arrive to the loft, and I hop out slamming the door as my anger starts to fume. I walk up the steps as Void says grabbing my arm "Stiles wait, let me in and we can make them regret not telling you. 

We'll make them beg for mercy and while Scott and the others beg we'll make him know who the Alpha really is." 

I smirk as I close my eyes as I can feel myself instantly calm and when I open my eyes he says "Okay I lied but you and I are now one. 

You can do whatever you want and that includes making Scott regret." I smirk as I do feel different but good. I hear them talking and I smirk as I ask, "Can we teleport?"

I can feel him smirk as he says, "Of course, we can move through shadows just like the Oni." My smirk grows as he explains how to teleport and after I close my eyes, I open them again. I see we're just inside the loft when everyone turns to see me at the door. 

I cross my arms and say more to Scott "I think you forgot I was at the table when you made the meeting but if I remember correctly you said after school so why did you leave after lunch and if you were using code why wasn't I aware of it? Why keep it a secret? Hmm. Scott, you going to tell me why or just stare." 

I pause to let him talk but he doesn't so I say "Well then tell me this, why make a code without me. Why have a code that you use when I'm around? 

Also, I'm not stupid and if anything, I'm smarter than everyone here except Lydia she's smarter than me. 

So, what made you think you'd get away with keeping something from me Scotty, You and I have been friends since we've been in diapers, so I know you. So, please Scott tell me why." 

I can feel his pain as I was talking, and it just got more intense as he tries to explain. he finally works words into an actual sentence, and he tells me "Stiles, I, We. . . Uh. I'm sorry it was my idea to make a code to say when around you. 

We all agreed to it and the reason was for if or when you start to show the signs that you became possessed or if anyone suspected it that was when the code would be mentioned. 

I thought it would be a good idea but I didn't think and so we came here to discuss whether or not your possessed again." 

I listen while being somewhat surprised they all agreed to make a code to tell each other to come here and talk about if I'm possessed or not instead of asking me or something. 

I turn to leave as I look over my shoulder and I say "Well I'll just save you the trouble and leave, also I quit the pack. Goodbye Scott and others. 

Oh, and Lydia, make a choice me or the pack. If you choose the pack, we're done and if you choose me then we can continue being together." 

She looks from me to Scott then back to me then to the floor thinking and I can feel her struggling, so I make the discission for her cause obviously if she can't make the discission just like that then the answer is obvious, so I say "You know what, forget it. 

If you can't make the choice just like that and choose between me and the pack, then we must mean nothing to you, so we're done. 

So, there I made the choice for you goodbye Scott and Lydia don't ever talk to me again or you'll regret it, and Scott you've never been there for me and so I don't need you. Also, if it wasn't clear we are no longer best friends, and you are not my brother." 

I turn again leaving them to gawk over what happened and I move through the shadows to my jeep. 

Once I get in Void shows up in the passenger seat with a smirk on his face as I start the jeep to back up and drive towards home Void says "Good job, I'm proud of you. 

Let's go spread Chaos, Strife and Pain to the town the pack protects with their very lives." I smirk as I say "I never heard of anything more fun. Let's do it." 

He says as we drive to the first location to spread Chaos, Strife and Pain. "Yess! Finally. Let's go to the Beacon Hills Memorial." 

I say with a smirk coming across my face "Yeah, good idea." We drive down the road in the direction of the Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital.
