Chapter 12

'A Lowlifes greed for money, is as sure as flies being around horse shit' says Titus Argon.

'Fuck you'. Says the Top boy.

'Kill him' says Titus Argon. The blessed blast directly into his heart, causing his heart to stop. The top boy drops lifeless to the floor. The room is silent, the goons of the dead top boy all remain motionless.

'You killed him, you bastard'. Says an Area Boy,

'Your next if you don't leave this place right now'. Says Titus Argon.

'I'll kill you, you high born ­scum'. Says the Area boy as he moves towards Titus Argon, he's interrupted by the blessed, who obstructs his way, signaling a warning.

'Don't take one step further'. Says the Blessed. The area boy is frozen by fear, but his anger remains

'Boys get his body, let's get out of here'. Says the Area Boy. The other goons comply and move hesitantly towards the top boy's dead body. As they reach the body they become despair at the sight of the dead body, but muster the courage and grab hold of the carcass.

'Mark my words Lord Titus Argon, your gonna pay for what you've done'. Says the Area Boy. He takes a look at the blessed, then shifts his gaze to Kylon.

'You are all gonna pay' says the Area Boy.

Theirs an eerie silence, as the gangs feel restless because of the course of events.

'Who's next?' says Titus Argon. The gang members are hesitant to speak.

'Does no one have anything else to offer?' asks Titus

'I've got something for ya' says Marcus Voise.

'As always' says Titus. He begins returning to his seat. Whiles Marcus orders his gang to bring forward their merchandise.

'You seem to know your stuff kid, how is it you can spot a fake so easily?' asks Marcus.

'Years of practice' says Kylon sarcastically. Marcus gang put down a set of boxes in front of Kylon.

'go on Ky' says Titus. Kylon steps forward to inspect the Item. He's the center of attention, with all eyes locked on him. He takes a deep breath before beginning the inspection. He takes his time looking at the item, as he shuffles the equipment in his hands. He makes a gesture with his head movement to signal the artifact is authentic, then places the artifact down.

'How much' Titus say to Marcus.

'Why don't we ask the kid. Marcus looks at Ky 'what do you think Ky? How much is it worth?' asks Marcus. Kylon picks up the weapons once more

'It's a republic era weapon, used in the First exa war, the engravings' tell me it probably belongs to general, but it's got no powder burns on the mussel, so it must have been a showpiece, probably got it from a noble.' says Ky, he looks at Titus,

'It's hard to tell its worth.' says Kylon. As he puts his gaze to the floor

'if you had to make a guess' says Marcus intimidatingly.

'if I had to Guess.....' Kylon shifts his gaze between Marcus and Titus. '20 gold'

'20 gold?' says Marcus intimidatingly once more.

'And 50 silvers' says Kylon anxiously, with an aim of pleasing Marcus while trying not to offend Titus.

'The Kid's got a good eye.' Says Marcus.  Kylon retreats by taking a couple of steps back.

'He is still new to this isn't he?' Says Marcus

'20 gold for the Item.' Says Titus.

'And 50 Silvers.' Says Marcus. Titus laughs to rebuff Marcus's claim. 

'20 Silvers' Says, Titus. 

'35 silvers' says, Marcus.

'20 silvers' says Titus. His voice is stern and unwavering. Marcus recognises Titus will not negotiate further. He makes a gesture to signal the acceptance of the amount mentioned by Titus.

'Anyone else have something to offer' says Titus. other areas boys present items and Kylon appraise them one after the other until there are not more items. 

'And so this auction is concluded, gentlemen it was a pleasure doing business with you' says Titus. The Blessed aide turns to face Kylon.

'You did well' says the blessed aide. Kylon fears the blessed, after witnessing his power.
